The food is great. Our waitress was amazing! BUT my husband & I could hear a different waitress with an extremely bad attitude. She had long black hair, her name was Meagan & she looked as if she recently had a baby. She was very loudly complaining about a table not tipping what she thought she should be tipped & talking very negative about some of the other girls. We like to observe & it was very obvious to us she was full of negative energy which spreads throughout the entire restaurant. You can’t have a girl like that in an environment like Twin Peaks. If it wasn’t for our sweet waitress, whom was fairly new with a contagious smile, a good laugh, & very pretty eyes, I don’t know that we would be back. Nobody wants to hear or feel negativity like that when they go out to have a good time! Also tips are gifts & if you came up to my table with that attitude I wouldn’t tip you well either! We will be back but we definitely hope we don’t see her there again!

I hate giving bad reviews but man let me tell you about my experience. Me and my girls went here to check it out, it was a Friday night so they were busy. The hostess didn’t even greet us. I had to come up and ask when to be sat, she said it would be about a 30 minute wait but what’s funny is that some guys came in right after us and got sat immediately. Hmm maybe they don’t like other females? after waiting about 35 minutes we finally got sat in this girls section. When we got sat, we waited another 10 mins before anyone even noticed us! The busser came up and introduced himself and got our drinks because he noticed no one helped us(I thought it was very sweet of him) Finally our waitress came and she was pretty nice! I got the nachos and my friend got a burger. Both were super good but it’s so pricey. Overall, it was an okay time. Just wish they treated the girls as good as they treat the guys. I guess it’s cause you can’t flirt with us. Haha

They need to market this place better went in blindly with my son The women and atmosphere was instantly inappropriate for me and my son. I even asked the waitress innocently«um… The only women here are servers. What kind of place is this? Is it like Hooters?» She tried desperately to convince me that it is a «family restaurant». ITISNOT! We left.

TIff– the brats were never on the menu and I just asked and they don’t have apple pie here and not on the menu. I realize that different regions have different tastes, but how about a flyer which has items not on the menu?

Maybe I came in at the right time. My bro in law brought me for my bday. Had great wings and the meatloaf dinner while watching college bball(in November 2014). I’d definitely eat there again.

Lots of young girl staff hanging out at the entrance. Are you working or gossiping? Food… maybe fair. Wouldn’t go back.

I went in for drinks and a snack before going back to the hotel. I sat at the main bar and waited at least 5 mins before even being acknowledged. I’m not a little guy. Not hard to miss and it wasn’t busy. In her defense(she never told me her name so she will have to do) she was busy schmoozing other customers. Maybe regulars. Shift change came and I thought maybe the next girls would be better. They were slightly better. Maybe it was my menacing, fuzzy cherub faced appearance but the one bartender of the 2, greeted everyone already sitting at the bar and new patrons with a handshake and her name as well as her partners name. Except me. Way to make someone feel welcomed. Oh well. One less place to visit the next time I’m in the Independence/Lee’s Summit area. I’ve no problem giving my per diem monies to another establishment.

Soooo… Twin Peaks… yeaaa. If you’re going here you definitely have an idea of what to expect. Atmosphere is solid… sports bar with generally hot women walking around in skimpy clothing. Sounds great, right? Well… The real issue I have is with the younger females hired here. 20 and above is generally fine, but the hostess looked like she was 14, and wearing the standard attire for this chain I felt weird(and dirty?) just looking at her to talk to her. If that was my daughter I’d have an issue with it. As for the rest, I can’t really say anything. Food…meh. I hope you’re not honestly going here for cuisine. I will say this… they have, by FAR, the best fried cheese(mozzarella cheese bites) I’ve ever had. Our server told us it’s made in-house, and it must be close because it was really good. The rest of the food is ok. My wife had the chicken sandwhich, and she liked it. I had the venison chili beef burger, and it was ok. It wasn’t ok a few hours later when I continued to have reminders of what I ate. Service: our server was fantastic. Her name was Allison, and she really did well. We had some questions about working in a place like that(we were curious), and she sat in the booth and talked with us. She was really nice and really didn’t miss a beat on our table. She was top-notch and would’ve been successful at any restaurant, including those with different dress codes. She generally only works Saturdays, so if you happen in then, ask for her… you’ll thank me. For the money, there are other places in town with similar menus but better food I’d rather go to. Can’t say I’ll be back, but can say I’m glad I checked it out.

The whole place was loud. Though that would be expected of a sports bar, it was so much so that our server couldn’t hear us giving an order. Thus, when my boyfriend ordered a Philly cheese steak, she asked if he wanted to put Pico de Gallo on it.(What? Why?) He also specifically requested no onions. Five minutes later she comes back and asks, «You wanted nachos, right?» Uh, no. «With extra onion?» Uh, no again! Drinks were empty practically the whole night with our server hardly in sight for most of the evening.

I’ve been here a couple of times and wanted to give the restaurant a second chance after a lack luster first experience. The second experience turned out to be far worse than the first. Apparently requesting an additional ingredient in an entrée is too much to handle and throws the whole operation out of whack. I found the employees to be rude and my «friendly server» could not answer simple questions about the menu. Apparently they have a script they are supposed to use with people as my server kept saying the same thing over and over to her customers. Not a big deal but it got annoying after a while. Maybe my expectations were a little high by wanting to have a positive dining experience. This I suppose is just not that kind of place.

Our server disappeared for like 25 minutes towards the end of our meal. We stopped 3 other servers who kept looking for her. No one stepped in to get us what we needed which was Togo boxes and the check. Finally she showed back up and took a while to get us cased out. My food was okay and over priced. I might go back for the beer– very nice cold beer and chilled mug.

I was taken here by a friend so we could hang out and talk over old times. He knows I am into craft beer and chose this place… but that was a mistake. Only two IPAs of any note, mostly just the standard adjunct commercial lagers. They served the IPA in a generous mug, but it was frozen — and to make matters worse apparently with a lot of water left inside. The beer looked like a slushy with ice floating around and it was just a horrific way to serve decent beer. The food was ok, nothing special. The girls were cute but that only carries the place so far.

I went here the other day and let me tell you, I wasn’t very impressed. I came in and the theming was great but that was pretty much it. I have always had a weak spot for cabin type places so that’s why I wanted to check it out. Of course everything is pretty over priced. I went for the quesadilla and it was mediocre. The price they charge for this food, wasn’t at all what it should taste like. I also paired it with a beer. I did think it was cool how they have a digital sign to show the temperature of the beer constantly. They serve it at 29 degrees and it was cold and refreshing. I do believe guys love this place because of the women, BUT being here not to look at the servers, it was just okay. Not at all impressed.

I visited Twin Peaks on Tuesday evening around 21:30 with a male friend. The Tuesday night ladies crew left a little to be desired. My male friend’s exact words were«they must have the skanky crew on tonight.» He and I had been there in at Easter time and the women were attractive and the clothing provided by TP fit appropriately. This evening the clothing didn’t look good on these women — or they didn’t look good in the clothing — either way I have seen a much more attractive server crowd in there and they weren’t working Tuesday. I ordered the large knotty brunette and my friend his standard Bud Light. The beers came in large frosted mugs and are priced well. Our server Emily was quick and efficient and did a good job.

All my friends really like this place but for me it’s not all about boobs and butts. Yes, the girls are decent but if that’s all you got then no thank you. I have the venison chili burger and it was decent at best. The service is slow and food is average. I do like all the tv’s and if it was a normal sports bar they would go put of business. The audience here is interesting to say the least. I don’t plan in coming back. I am only giving it two stars because of the beer. They have two delicious beers that I really like. Other than that, this place is blah.

Well here is a fair and balanced review. The inside is very nice and spread out. Lots of TVs. They also have an outdoor patio. The beers are a bit pricey but not too bad. The only issue with the beers is that the glasses are not just chilled, they have a layer of ice on the inside. The tap beer is kept way to cold(there is a billboard that tells you how cold the beer is). Its usually around 28 degrees. Anyway, when you get a draft beer count on getting about 2 ½ inchs of slush on top. I don’t want a beer slushy or a watered down beer. When I order a beer from them I make sure the mug is room temp. You still get a very cold beer. That’s unless you like 2 ½ inches of slush and watered down beer.(you will actually get less beer). I don’t know if this was done on purpose by design to lessen their beer costs, or they like serving customers a beer with slush instead of foam. BEERISSUPPOSEDTOHAVE A HEADONIT! Its not supposed to be a Quick Trip Slushy! Get a room temperature mug or have them rinse the ice off the glass… you will be glad you did. The food was good and reasonably priced. They have one of the best Philly Cheese Steaks in town. The wait time on food is horrific at times. One time I ordered an order of 12 chicken wings and it took 45 min. Another time I ordered some mozzarella sticks(they actually come out as bites) 35 Minutes. Now for the service. Twin Peaks took a chapter out of the Hooters play book at dressed their waitresses up very sexy(I am not complaining). Very attractive help they have there. However, unless you sit at the bar the service is very very bad. It would appear that the help is more into schmoozing with select customers or their buddies or running off into a corner with the other waitresses to screw off. One time I saw our waitress outside texting on her phone… took 20 minutes to get us drinks. This just didn’t happen once. It happened every time I went there. Yes they are cute, but they have to be held accountable by someone. Where is the management? The food and drink service at the tables is really bad. I mean BAD. I will not sit at a table… ever. I sit at the bar. Last but not least a fair warning. Someone needs to monitor the bartenders regarding over serving. I seen have seen several people that were obviously sloppy drunk that were served despite being in this condition. I mean these people were totally oiled up. I took the opportunity to mention it to the bartender. Basically I was not taken seriously. It was if the Bartender was at a sorority frat party. Jim Beam and Coke flowed to this person. He could not walk straight and hardly talk yet they kept feeding him drinks. They have a word for this… its called overserving!!! An hour later he stumbled out the door with his car keys in his hand(let your imagination run wild regarding what could happen). Now I am not a party pooper. I love to party like the best of them. But serving someone that is totally wasted is irresponsible. Obviously they wont learn until this place gets the crap sued out of them. The owners need to take some personal responsibility and make sure the bartenders understand that it’s a business, and not a Sorority Frat House. In the end the owners will pay for this behavior.

My wife and I were staying in a hotel nearby and we needed some late food for take out. So I decided to get food from here. This was around 9:45 at night. First I called over to place the take out order and was informed they do not take those over the phone. You have to come in and order. Right away I should have looked elsewhere but I went ahead and left the wife behind to get food. This place was packed at 10:00. Of course, it was NCAA tourney weekend so I assume that led to most of it, but I have been to our local Twin Peaks and it’s never this busy that late at night. I was lucky enough to find a spot at the bar. I grab a beer since I know it’s going to take a little bit and then informed the bartender I was placing a take out order. That’s all it took to get me on their ignore list. After getting my beer and menu I was pretty much ignored for at least 15 minutes or so even though there were four behind the counter and they were schmoozing the people sitting to the left and right of me. Finally I got one of them to take my order. I get why these places are popular, they are basically one step down from a strip club, but none of the people working there care about customer service, at least in terms of taking orders and getting food to people. It’s all about schmoozing for tips. What should have at most taken 30 minutes took more than hour and it’s just because they knew I was taking out they wouldn’t be able to get a big tip. It’s a great place to come on guys night out when you don’t care if you’re waiting long times for service. But for casual diners and especially to go orders, skip it.

This place was rocking for a Tuesday night at 11PM in Independence! They are only open for Dinner right now so all the talent is on hand. Everyone was super friendly, as expected from the ones I’ve been to in Texas. I’ve never seen so many TV’s in a joint before. They say they have 80 of them. Many, many things to grab your attention. I just got an order to go. The Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad is very good and quite filling. The Venison Chili was probably one of the best bowls of chili I’ve ever had! Beware, it’s quite spicy. The 29 degree beers looked amazing, but alas, I had to go to work :-( It is a little on the higher end of pricing so I won’t be there every night.
