Taco Street

I’ve had street tacos in Jaruez, and this is the best athnenic Taco joint around ! My go to place. The Salsa Verde is the Bomb ! They made me up a sampler of A tostada, a fried & a St. Taco. Beans n chips. Don Carlos hooked me up. If you don’t see it on the menu? Just ask, they’ll make it for you. Family Owend and Family Friendly…

First off. Burritos are HUGE and look amazing. worth the money. Son loved his. Husband and I tried the fried tacos. Very good BUT… unless you are getting them for taco Tuesday when they are 1.00 they are way over priced. They are a very tasty but small taco. You are offered cheese and lettuce and IF you want salsa you are charged 75 cents. not each taco but still. its a little itty bitty amount. Salsa should be a free condiment as it is in most any Mexican food establishment. And if you want onion its an extra charge… ridiculous. Also tried the quesadilla. was just ok… the cheese is a mozzarella so very very chewy. need something that melts better. Liked the pork meat with the pineapple flavoring but did not care for the BIG chunks of pineapple, should be smaller in my opinion so it blends more .our just use juice. If we go back will be to try a burrito or something worth the money. or taco tuesday… but c’mon guys. stop it with the extra cost on your teaspoon amount of salsa or ¼ tsp onion… that’s just crazy and sad. its «policies» or nickle and dimeing people like this that keep at least me away from places… just because it rubs me the wrong way.

I don’t usually post about my opinion regarding restaurants since this is a field where I have worked. This is a great asset to our neighborhood. This predominantly carry out authentic Mexican restaurant, has wonderful food. The food is full of deep complex flavor. Prices are great for the quality of the product you get. This is NOT a Taco bell so don’t expect a crappy taco with less than an ounce of meat, expect a great taco with a respectable amount of meat and toppings. Street tacos are exceptional. Burritos are awesome, bowls are awesome. I have tried everything on the menu everything has been exceptional and above average even when comparing to only dine in restaurants. They have some specials on certain days all of the are also great. They will often deliver with a reasonable order. The staff is very polite and respectful. This is overall a awesome asset to the community and a damn good place to grab a bite to eat. Just awesome!

I am extatic that Taco Street has moved into the neighborhood. I miss the Olympic Grill that was previously in this location, but this place is awesome! Think Chipotle or Freebird style, but instead of getting that icky aftertaste taste of corporately owned greed and generic ingredients, you get a suprisingly fresh, authentic and locally owned culinary experience! The place is cute and clean, the staff is friendly and fast, there are daily specials and everything is reasonably priced. There a few tables where you may sit and enjoy your deliciousness, or, if you’re feeling super lazy, they also deliver! Taco Street has quickly become my favorite spot on 40 (besides Back Porch BBQ) and I take all my friends and family here if I’m not in the mood to cook. The salsa and guacamole is fire and they even have legitimate vegetarian options for all my fellow vegheads. I really hope this place is here to stay!

Had the street tacos today and they were amazing! Loved the homemade salsa and two of us ate for $ 15 for lunch. I’ll be back!

Very expensive. You get no sides with your food. Grease. It was tasty exept for the beef tacos

Really nice environment and the workers are also very friendly. The food is awesome! It is REAL authentic Mexican food which is the best part and the prices are also very reasonable. I loved it and will certainly be coming back for more soon.

Fresh flavorful food, very friendly, very clean. This place has quickly become a favorite. It’s a must try when in the area.
