I was traveling back to Milwaukee and stayed at this Independence, Iowa Super 8. I wanted to be close to the Frank Lloyd Wright Walter house for the first tour. I paid $ 89.59 to stay in a small town in Iowa which is crazy to me. The check-in process was easy and there’s ample parking. I requested a room on the top floor or on the end to minimize the risk of party kids, stompers and people shagging. The clerk placed me on the second floor and in a room with vacancies on both side. She said the room has a hot tub that I’m not paying for and to «please not use it». A few things: #1: I paid $ 90 to stay in this cow town I’ll use it if it’s in my room. #2: Hot tubing alone is not my thing. I didn’t use the hot tub. I appreciated the wide selection of cable channels. I ate McDonald’s and watched the MLB network until I fell asleep. I slept pretty well and woke up recharged the next morning. In a small town with only two options, this Super 8 isn’t a bad option.
