Oh for the love of Jesus Christ.
I went back specifically to check the milk section for bad milk, in an attempt to give this store a chance to redeem themselves.
I found literally three times as much bad milk here as I did the last time I was here.
I brought every single carton I could reach (some where shoved way far in the back.) and filled up a cart and brought it up to the front of the store and asked for a manager.
It was pretty late at night and I showed her my cart full of rotten milk and told her this was all just sitting in your milk department, fermenting and waiting to be purchased and consumed by unexpected customers who would most likely get incredibly sick from milk poisoning. Are you fucking serious? And the manager didn’t give a shit about anything I was talking about. She didn’t apologize or even say anything. She picked up her phone and acted like she was going to call the dairy department but put the phone down as I began to walk away. It was such an awkward exchange of words because she looked at the milk and then looked at me and gave me an attitude kind of face.
I have half a mind to go back specifically to make a complaint to an actual manager. I don’t think this person was even a manager.
Hey Price Chopper, fire your head dairy department person, and also that manager in particular for literally not doing anything or even responding to me when I flat out brought a cart filled with bad milk.
Next time I find a bad milk in your department I’m calling the health department and then your district manager. And this time I will take a plethora of photos.
I used to work in a 24 hour grocery store, you have absolutely no excuse to be selling bad rotten milk that expired literally weeks ago.
Who runs your dairy department, a 4 year old child?! What an outrage!!!

It’s my neighborhood store, what else can I say? The butchers are always very friendly and helpful. Other than that, things here are quite expensive compared to the H-​E-​B we shopped at in Texas.

I cant give 5 stars cause midwest grocery stores truly lack (in my food snobby NW opinion) but as far as customer service they do a great job.
Decent meat counter and now have some specialty items. Not a fan of their fish selection.
This is a crazy busy store due to the location. They are always clean, good selections, restocked often and NEVER have to wait to check out.
Around the holidays, they have every check out lane available with baggers AND they have the customer service available for 10 items or less. I appreciate not having to wait in line very long.

This store is always clean, has a huge selection of vegetables and meats, and has a huge selection of products no matter what you are searching for. The people that work there are friendly and I also never have to wait long to get checked out.
