Stopped in last night with some friends and had a nice time. Waitress was very pleasant and the food was decent. Had the Kentucky Bourbon Burger and the Mrs had the Pasta Alfredo. Burger was actually nicely done and thick! The bourbon flavor was strong but not over powering, I’d definitely order it again. The ‘surfboard’ appetizers were cut a bit thick to be called a surfboard. more like half a baked potato… we were calling them submarines. The onion rings were okay… at least they didn’t all come out of the coating when you took a bite, needed salt though.
Nice view of the Wapsi River from the facility though.

Bland. Just bland. Had the house specialty, the Romano. Iceberg lettuce, mayo. Bland. Even the crusted bread was disappointing.
My sister had the ham sandwich with fries and cheese sauce. Bland.
ALL of my points are for the great setting along the Wapsie River.
