Of course I’ve been in other Hobby Lobby’s but this one is by far my favorite. I love where it’s located and the open parking area. What I love more is the layout on the inside. Everything is easy to find and the employees are always nice and never annoyed. As a side note, the bathrooms are always clean. Which is important to me as I always have kids with me.

Hobby Lobby is pretty consistent throughout their stores, including this one. However, this one gets a 5 because it’s near the dreaded Bass Pro, where the man shops for hours on end… whoever decided to build it there, God bless your wife-of the-sportsman lovin’ heart!

I just cannot get into Hobby Lobby. The store is not set up very well and I feel like their selection is very limited. I am a big cake /cupcake /candy maker and that one aisle is so not enough of stuff I need to make my creations. I would rather drive a little farther out to go to Michaels.

Sorry, Hobby Lobby… you used to grab my heart and wallet… but now all I can find is a pretty colored of yarn only you carry. This really did happen, I swear on a stack of bead containers… Me: «do you have purse handles?» Employee: «not any more.» Me: «do you have magnetic clasps, like for purses or large jewelry?» Employee: «you’ll have to go to one of those online bead places for that kind of thing.» No more Delicas, no purse handles, barely an aisle of yarn, plastic not wooden knitting needles. It has the most slim cross stitch department in town. No Aida cloth by the yard. A large amount of cheap very cheap make it in a day if you are 5 years old products. Candles and wax and more candles and things to make candles and molds for candles. Florals. The place is over ran with candles and florals. Seriously, look elsewhere if you like to make anything that turns out professional looking. …except for candles. If you love your wax, this is your place. Chances are, I will enter into the doors again, and not find what I want. Cause, it’s Hobby Lobby, and they sell that one yarn.

I love Hobby Lobby. I can always find what I’m looking for and they randomly have things on sale. I don’t think I’ve ever left without a bag of crafty supplies. My only issue with this location is that I never get good customer service. The stockers have just stood around, stocking their products inconveniently with their huge carts, not bothering to ask if I need help looking for something in the isle they’re stocking. The girls working on clearance were awesome too with their over-abundance of empty cards herded in front of the clearance area(it was obvious they were in the way, other customers had to move them into other isles to get around them) and the girls were just sitting around talking! The fact that they have their COPIC markers locked up is ridiculous too. My fiancé bought one and not only did we have to look around for a person to unlock the case, but she also had to walk it up to the front of the store to give to a cashier. I almost asked if she needed to call Obama and let him know we’d bought a COPIC marker. I know they’re trying to cut down on thefts but locking them up is just going to encourage thieves to steal the Prismacolor markers. They should move the COPIC’s up to the front by the registers like Michael’s does instead of making it a big deal to buy one. Overall, I’m not unhappy with this Hobby Lobby. It’s better than JoAnn’s by a long shot! I wish they’d work on their customer service a bit though.

This Hobby Lobby is the mecca of all things crafty, Christian, or gift-related. This HL is not only brand spankin’ new, but also HUGE offers correspondently HUGE selection of everything from beading supplies, fabric, paint and canvases, scrapbooking and stamping, yarn, cake decorating, stationary, children’s crafts, model toys, floral. Not only does this store offer every kind of craft you can think of, but it also has a TON of home décor and seasonal items — many of which are Christian related. Best of all — the store is always promoting sale items, including seasonal before the season is over. You can also get yourself a 40% discount coupon off the internet good for most any item! I love this Hobby Lobby for all sorts of reasons: huge parking lot, HUGE facility, huge selection, great home décor and layout, convenient location and beautiful surroundings, and super clean store. This is my favorite craft store in KC, hands down.

I LOVE Hobby Lobby. yep, I said it. I really do. I don’t care if they’re unorganized, or it’s hard to find some one to help you, or if their employees aren’t as knowledgeable as they could/should be. I don’t even care that some things seem overpriced(luckily their weekly sales make up for it, and if you hold off on big-ticket items they’re sure to be cheap in a few weeks) My love for Hobby Lobby is unconditional. I could literally spend hours in Hobby Lobby, particularly this location. It’s new. Its huge. Its clean. I love it. But being a jack of all trades in the art/craft/quilting/costuming world, I’d have to love it. Where else could I buy possibly everything I could need for all 25 of my hobbies? haha.
