I have been needing a new passport picture. I got married like a year and a half ago and still haven’t changed my name on my passport, so I finally got off my couch and decided to get it taken care of. The CVS website advertised that the photo hours began at 8AM(when the store opens) so I decided to stop by on my way to work one day last week. The guy at the counter was as friendly as can be when he informed me that nobody currently working was trained to take passport pictures, and while he offered to give me a call back when the next qualified photo-taker came in, that didn’t really do me any good. A few helpful tips for CVS, just for future reference: 1. TRAINYOURSTAFF. Everybody who you trust enough to have keys to your store should be able to do every task. 2. If the website says somebody will be available to take pictures, you should have someone available. Don’t leave your employees hanging when a customer comes in and can’t get what was advertised by your website. 3. If you can’t have someone available at 8AM, don’t advertise that you can.
