This is a very basic ice cream store. There were a number of things that turned me off. 1) the supplies are kept in the bathroom next to the toilet. I only noticed this because the very grubby curtain was left partially open. 2) the service is pretty sub-par. My server was rude and the uniforms are absurd. 3) upon return, the owner was extremely rude and gave the tiniest portion imaginable. 4) the prices are insane for what you get. Definitely one to avoid!

The ice cream is good and the service usually is too. The cool thing about it is you can get your hair cut while you wait for your ice cream cone! :)

Tiny little spot, more of a stand, two tables inside, others are outside. The choice is really limited. Good to go only if you stuck nearby

When I crave after dinner treats and there happens to be none at home, I go to Susie’s. This small ice cream shop has a decent selection of flavors and a couple choices in the frozen yogurt variety for those of you trying to be more health conscious. I’m not sure where the ice cream is sourced from but it’s good quality and their sundae selection is quite extensive. The prices are fair and the service, even from the newbs, is usually quite good. If you’re in the mood for a frozen treat, and possibly a haircut or blowout, this spot is for you when in Incline Village.

Great ice cream, 3.5 a scoop, 5.5 the two. Multiple flavors, locally made and friendly staff. Highly recommended…

A tiny ice cream shop on the main drag. The five of us all loved our choices(of course, the 5– and 7-year-old love any ice cream). And the choices are many. My choice(name forgotten) which had a fruit and liquor flavor was absolutely outstanding. The young ladies who work there are very helpful, offering various selections and tastings. They also serve some very large, unusual concoctions which we watched other people consuming. There’s an attached toy store which the children will certainly find and if, like me, you are a grandparent, the cost of your stop there will be augmented.

Cute, little place. Great ice cream flavors. However, only 2 frozen yogurt flavors – wish they had more. A bit overpriced. 2 scoops of ice cream and a large yogurt was over $ 12. I paid by credit card and the gal asked me if I wanted to add tip. I thought that was ridiculous. Tipping at a salon, restaurant etc is reasonable, but for a 2 minute transaction of scooping ice cream… Really? I may add extra quarters, but adding tip on my credit card seemed a bit much considering it was already overpriced.

We stopped by two days ago(8÷10÷15) after a mediocre lunch experience in the neighborhood. This place saved the day. Very small shop with friendly staff. Looked like they carry a variety of options from smoothies to shaved ice to frozen yogurt to ice cream to — well you get the idea. We had ice cream. I chose the mud pie flavor and my wife chose the bliss flavor. Both were very tasty. For chocolate lovers Mud Pie is the choice, it rocks. However, the flavors in Bliss will entertain your tastebuds in a delightful way. I think it just depends on which mood you are in on a given day. There are lots of flavors and some are«locally» made. Should be something for every taste. Give it a try and enjoy!

Everyone in my crew loved it! Helped break up our rainy day blues. Great flavors and my sundae was perfect.

We stopped here after visiting Tahoe City and boy am I glad we did. My wife and daughter had driven by it while going to sand harbor a few weeks before and wanted me to see the area. So Saturday we took off from NV and spent the day checking out the area. On the way home stopped for Ice cream at this cute little shop. The gal behind the counter was probably a high school student on summer vacation and she was the only staff we saw. She was friendly and did a great job! I wish we would’ve gone into the toy store next door, but the sign said finish your ice cream before entering so we skipped it. Really? You are a connected building. Take the sign down and watch your sales improve. 5 Stars for the Ice Cream Place, Zero for the sign baring entrance to the toy store with your ice cream.

I love this place! The shop was decorated super cute with photos of people enjoying their ice cream and cute signs including an ice cream board with face cut outs you can take your photo in. There was a great selection of ice cream including a local made brand and Dreyers. My boyfriend and I both had cones and the scoops were huge! We can’t wait to go back to Tahoe to try more flavors!

This is a great place that is kind of hidden across the street from the Christmas Village; very small place that is connected to a Barber and a Toy Shop. Very friendly and great tasting ice cream!

Delicious homemade ice cream!!! Choose the Susie Scoops recipes instead of the Dreyers and you won’t be disappointed. There are only a handful of ingredients in the homemade stuff, which is awesome! The pistachio, coconut, and banana fudge ripple are my favorites. You can always ask to see the ingredient list, too, if you have allergies. Cute and colorful store with yummy treats = 5 stars.

It’s a little cramped, but the selection is great and the ice cream is delicious. I got the Cookie Monster sundae and wasn’t disappointed by the serving size. My daughter had rainbow sherbet which she wolfed down before disappearing into the adjoining toy store. All around I’d say it was a great experience.

What a great find! My boyfriend and I were looking for an ice cream parlor or a place we could grab milkshakes! We found this place(thanks to Unilocal) and it’s great! I got a mix of banana and chocolate ice cream(yummy) with some peanut butter topping. My boyfriend likes the classic mint chocolate chip in a cone haha. It was delicious, great service, and a wonderful little local spot! They have it all: ice cream, smoothies, cookies, milkshakes etc. Check it out! and check in ;)

I can’t say a thing about the scoops, but I certainly can recommend their birthday cakes. While checking the freezer section at Raley’s for a birthday cake for our daughter(she requested ice cream cake), I struck up a conversation with a young mother who was also shopping for an ice cream BD cake for her daughter. The daughter about 7⁄8 didn’t like any of the flavors and Mom said I guess we’ll go to Susie Scoops. My ears perked up and I asked about Susie Scoops. Off to Susie’s we went, small space, very difficult to maneuver when two or more people are inside. Grab the order sheet at the register and find a spot to sit and fill out. We ordered the large cake, rather pricey but we weren’t disappointed. Everyone raved about the cake and we had enough to serve again the next night. This was a 50th birthday and the cake was as special as the Birthday Girl.

Ice cream was pretty good(got the cake batter ice cream) and the cone was pretty good too(got the waffle cone dipped in chocolate and sprinkles) — it definitely hit the spot and the name is pretty darn adorable which is the main reason for bumping up to 4 stars. Truly a 3.5 star place. Not average but not something I’d go out of my way for. Definitely nice if you are in the area or driving by!

Average ice cream shop… below average prices(meaning expensive). They serve mostly Dreyers icecream with about 10 flavors of local Tahoe Creamery ice cream. They also do a bunch of cool sounding sundaes and milkshakes. Not sure what everyone else raves about but it’s the only game in town so there you go.

They serve Tahoe Creamery ice cream. Stick with the mud pie flavor. I tried the coffee toffee, and the cake batter: Not as good as the mud pie.
