called in order, teriyaki bowl, California roll with cream cheese, and a kotori ball with beef, waited 25 min. Specifically asked for eel sauce not that yucky soy sauce with jalapeños. I was naïve and trusted what was in the takeout bag to be correct. Did not get cream cheese in California roll, no food presentation, did not get eel sauce as specifically asked, and katori ball was bland tasting. Not coming back to this place again. After I called to asked to report, all they said was sorry.

I would give this place 0 stars if possible! They took 47 minutes for our food and there was only a couple of 2 besides us in the restraunt. When I got my food the teriyaki chicken was cold and I gave it back and told them if they could make another. They gave it back to me and the entire plate was hot as if they just put it in the microwave and the chicken was still cold.

Horrible! Soap in our cups, and ice tea was murky and dark, miso soup came with a metal spoon and was WAY over salted and cooked. Gross sushi and not rolled tight, place needs to be put out of business.

This is my second time ordering take out from this location and it wasn’t much better than the first. I called in, ordered 2 rolls and a 4 piece gyoza, and the woman said would be ready in «10−15 minutes».I learned from the first time not to trust that number so I went in 25 minutes later. I walked in, no greeting and the girl told me the food wasn’t ready yet so I had to wait. I waited ANOTHER20 minutes sitting in the store until finally I got my food. She handed it to me without an apology for waiting so damn long and when I got to my car I see that she forgot my gyozas I ordered. Of course I went back and waited some more(they gave me a free ice tea, so that was nice) but I think it’d be much better if I got my food in the time she promised me it would be ready. Let it also be noted thatit was a Saturday, and not busy at all. They could do so much better and they know it. Not coming here again and I don’t recommend it because the preparation or flavor isn’t even worth it.

As you walk in your not greeted. It’s kinda warm in here and the sushi isn’t that fresh and hope I didn’t get sick. Worms in fish kinda thing. It is not busy for a weekend and service here isn’t perfect.

Received a five star service. Best waitress in town, very friendly and helpful and available. The food was delicious as well, the imperial roll is to die for! So good. We really enjoyed this restaurant especially with the great patience of the staff. Awesome.

My expectations were kinda low considering the Imperial Valley isn’t well known(or known at all) for their Japanese cuisine. I tried 3 of their rolls, the Dragon roll, Calexico roll, and the Ebi-Tem roll. The rolls were bland unless they were drenched in that sauce they use, and they had a little bit too much rice for my liking. The calexico roll was the better tasting one of the three, but it was fried beyond sushi recognition and stuffed with cream cheese, but it was tasty. The pricing is RIGHT up there with your SD/OC sushi spots tho. I paid 30+ for 3 rolls and 2 drinks. Seemed a little steep for the quality of the rolls but at least now I know? Overall, if you’re a hardcore sushi foody chances are you won’t like this chain of restaurants. If you’re a noobie or not super picky like myself, then you should give it a shot.

It’s ok, but for the Valley it’s pretty good. The one thing I truly dislike – you have to ask for wasabi — they won’t just give it with ur sushi – very strange! The soy sauce with small jalapeños is really good! My fave roll is the crunchy roll & rainbow roll

Sushi, sushi SUSHI!!! Everyone is just CRRAAAAZZZZZZZAAAY over sushi… a new trend has swept the Valley! Seriously, this is not good food, maybe to some dumbshit redneck(which this town is filled with) it is, but to me it’s heinous, I wouldn’t feed this shit to my pet gopher!!! In fact you would probably find a better sushi roll in the 99 cent store next door, I’m serious! I will admit though, the fact that they have Creamy Beefballs on the menu is pretty F*ckin’ hilarious… but c’mon, just because you stick a feather up your butt, that doesn’t necessarily mean you can call it macaroni, unless you wanted to, whatever, that’s your prerogative, I guess… But seriously, because I am completely serious… the same rules apply for this place, and for sushi all over the world, just because you wrap a bunch of random shit in some seaweed and roll it in rice THAT doesn’t make it «Sushi»!!! C’MONMAN!!! You see, moving back down here to this dirt encrusted bunghole of a town has made me insane… But seriously, I highly recommend the condom infused noodles to go with your magic cheesy beefball of happiness!!! Or try the Calexico Roll, it REALLY does taste like Calexico!!! And doooon’t get your panties in a bunch over my review, I’m just like, one dude, and this is, just like, my opinion bro… \mn/So, just like, hang loose, ya dig?!
