Prima Coin Laundry

We have laundry in our condo… i only come here to score the 5 gallons of water for a buck. Can’t beat that, huge filtration system on display.

I come here every week to do my laundry usually on the weekend… it’s very clean the morning attendant is very friendly and very helpful… the customer service here is excellent compared to other laundromats in the area I used before this one… I highly recommend doing your clothes here and the prices r good and if u can manage to get here during the week they have great week day specials oh yea free WiFi and clean bathrooms… great place

This is hands down one of, if not the absolute best, laundry facility in Imperial Beach. The facility is squeeky clean, which is a HUGE plus in my book. They have a lot of good machines that are new and kept in good working order. They even have a water filling station for your water bottles, which makes this place multifaceted to boot.
There are several televisions that are tuned into different stations so you get a variety of things to watch (both English and Spanish). The channels are even preset to popular local channels, and if you want them changed, they’ll accommodate your request.
The Wi-​Fi connection is free and the password never changes, so you don’t have to ask more than once if you are a repeat customer (other places constantly change theirs so you always have to ask). The connection is solid and they even have a little nook that allows you to plug in a laptop and sit on a stool with a table to work on. How sweet is that!!!
The staff is friendly, and they speak to you (I said «Good morning» and she said «Good morning» back, she even asked how I was doing — basic human kindness goes a long way these days) and are quite attentive. We had a small issue with one of the dryers today and the staff member (Maria) was on top of it like white on rice. She assessed the problem, which was the dryer not warming up after several minutes and immediately marked the dryer as «Out of Service». She then gave us credit on another machine and even tested it with an additional quarter to make sure it worked. Maria even gave us a couple of helpful tips about the washers and the dryers to help us make sure there isn’t an incident with gum or candy that may have been leftover from a previous load. MARIA IS FANTASTIC!!!

The owners are a married couple that are super nice and friendly… the place is always clean compared to other spots in IB. Free wifi a plus… and they have 5 gallon water for a buck… hands down best spot.

Two big issues here I just went through that warranted a bad review
1) there is always someone using ALL the single load dryers. Always.
2) when I used the restroom, someone kept knocking and I kept yelling «occupied». Eventually one of the employees opened the bathroom but luckily I was washing my hands. She wasn’t deaf because she heard me explain why i couldn’t turn the «vacant» knob. I wasn’t even in there more than 3 minutes. I almost wished she would of opened the door while I was in mid-​shit.

Had to come here to dry laundry because the one we normally go to is busy & the parking lot is full.
This laundry matt is clean & fairly brand new to IB. At least we have an alternate one to go to. There are plenty of washers & dryers. Also a candy machine inside.
