Dunes Park

This a small little park located on the coast in the heart of Imperial Beach. It is opened from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. It sports picnic tables (
) with picnic facilities, such as a hot coal disposal container, and a horse shoe pit and a playground with equipment (
). I liked the half court basketball court with hoop. It was in good condition (
)
The park has several grassy areas that are well maintained and dotted with mature palm trees (
). There is men’s and women’s bathroom with showers and water fountains (
). Parking is free along the street, or one block south on Seacoast Dr., there is a parking lot that charges $ 2.00 for the day. If you want to have a large event at the park, you must acquire special permission from the number above.
The park is small, but it has a lot to offer, no to mention the beach about 50 yards away…
