No no no no NO! Overpriced, tvs that haven’t been updated since 1991, sandpaper pillows, uncomfortable mattresses, blinds that don’t close, paint peeling off the walls… Oh, and don’t get a 1st floor room. If anyone walks around in the room above you you’ll run for cover because it sounds like the whole building is going to collapse. Won’t be back!

This place isn’t getting bashed by me, I’m just going to point out some things I noticed ;-) Tube TV Basic/old ass fuck interior Nice receptionist ANDDATHOTTUBETHO! Lol we seriously, LEGITIMATELY, booked this room for the hot tub… Strictly to bathe in… Of course… ;-) The three doesn’t define our experience so do not take it that way, I’ve just seen/been to better. All things considered, this town is old AF so this is as good as it gets to me lol. Hot springs here we come!

Room was ok but the sheets are like sandpaper which goes great with the Sponge Bob pillows. Had a big whirlpool tub but the shower was tiny, which goes good with the tiny steel wool towels. All in all its overpriced for what you get, should be a 59 to 69 dollar room but I suppose it’s the best you’ll find in town. Great view of the creek gets it 2 stars. One more thing, if you miss the 80s you’ll love the look of the room!!!

The creek side room was nice, and the room has decent amenities, but management was very difficult to work with. Our room was not all that clean when we checked in. Towels were thin and sheets rough. Room wasn’t cleaned after the first night, talked to the manager who tried saying they don’t clean of you are staying 2 – 3 nights. We needed coffee refills, trash collection etc so he said he would have the room cleaned. Saw him later in the day and he said the room had been cleaned, but it wasn’t. Went to the front desk, the young man there was quite rude. Out of here tomorrow.

I’ve stayed here twice now and had a good experience both times. The first stay I had a creek side room, it was large, clean, and had a private balcony The staff were friendly and helpful, quick to give suggestions for activities in the area. My second stay was great as well, when I called to book the room the staff remembered me from my previous stay(a year ago) which gave it a nice personal feel. I booked the cheaper double room this time and was very impressed. The room was dated but was very spacious and clean. Since this is the sister hotel to the Indian Hot Springs you also get pool passes for the duration of your stay which is an added bonus.

Argo motel is unfortunately a sub-par motel. It has a great view of the river, but if you’re looking for quality, keep looking. Sheets were dirty, A/C was noisy, TV was busted. Would not recommend to my friends.

Big, clean, room. No frills. Nice staff. Ask for creek side room. Small patio table will be outside your back door. Small indoor pool and hot tub. I’d stay again.

A great value for the price! If you are expecting the Ritz Carleton, you are mistaken, but what you will get is friendly staff, clean rooms, and free wifi. The staff is happy to address any issues that up. This is a good place to rest your head for the night, I was busy looking at houses and the front desk attendant Pam was even kind enough to look after my dog. The best place available for the money in Idaho Springs
