Thompson’s Tattoo Company

Thompson Tattoo Company, specifically the owners, are a complete joke and crooks. My husband bought me a full day tattoo gift certificate for Christmas (with Scotty) but I should mention apparently his wife Dre handles everything, as I have never talked to Scotty and everything has been through text with Dre. I filled out their appointment form online and Dre texted me with my appointment date. I waited 2 months for my appointment (as expected with any tattoo artist) my husband took off work to take care of the children and 30 minutes before my appointment she texted me asking if we could push the appointment out til noon as scotty had stuff come up that he needed to take care of, I of course agreed. 1130am comes around and she texts me saying we need to reschedule. I immediately texted her back, she never responded. Had I of not seen another post from someone else of them doing the same exact thing to her, I wouldn't have known to reschedule I had to fill out a form on their website because she has never said another word to me. I filled out the reschedule form. I still have not heard a word from either of them. NOW, being a business owner and mother, I absolutely understand shit comes up and you have to take care of it but when you inconvenience someone and waste their time, I'd think you would communicate with them and get them in ASAP when you're the one who cancelled the appointment. My husband has requested the money back numerous times.. (ill add the gift certificates do state nonrefundable which I would totally understand had I of cancelled on them and ghosted them) I have texted them and have been ignored every time. They already got the full amount of money for the gift certificate so why do they care to reschedule the appointment! I have now heard numerous stories of them doing this same exact shit to people. They're thieves! My only hope in posting this is to warn other people.

Called a couple days before Valentine’s Day and ask Scott if he had any openings asap. I was shocked when he said Sunday at noon works. Being that there closed on Sunday’s and that day being Valentine’s Day. I was very very happy cuz my lady and i wanted little hearts w one another’s initial– that’s it. She had wanted us to get them for some time. Shouldn’t take to long and great to have them done on V-​day together. So V-​day comes. Go to the bank grab 300 bucks. Idk how much those 2 hearts and 2 letters would cost. But wanted to show my appreciation for him coming in on a holiday to take care of us. Needless to say he didn’t show up. Left my name/​number. Not even a call back. It really didn’t bug me but to see my lady hurt/​sad that pissed me off. Very bad customer service. I’m sure his work is great but … when customers get treated like that not worth it.

I went into this shop to have a piercing of mine stretched to a larger gauge. Everyone was very professional and really nice. The piercer did a great job and it was a lot less expensive than I anticipated! I’ll definitely be back!

It took 51 years to get my first tattoo and I have now been back for three here at Thompson’s. Scotty is simply the best to work with. I had a really good idea of what I wanted and he took that idea and tweaked it to make it look even better than I could have hoped for. Most recently I wanted to add on to the first one I got ffom him and it included words. We took 90 minutes to locate the right font and did several placement ideas before we agreed on what looked best. Not the cheapest in town, but if you want top notched, professional work that people will ogle, go see Scotty! I know I will.
