Every service I have had from the beautiful esthetician (who will remain nameless for privacy sake) has been phenomenal. If you want to have the most glorious relaxation session (I.e. Nap) of your life go get a facial at The Eclectic Chair!

I had dread extensions put in at this location and had a horrible experience and want to let people know the TRUTH. This is 100% fact based and free speech and is no reflection of the personality of the staff, but is about there business practices so that consumers have knowledge of services rendered. The owner does NOT guarantee her work. So if you pay $ 215 for extensions and have 3 inches of hair and they start falling out after FOUR DAYS, but they can’t get you in for an appointment for 2 weeks OR will charge you even more to do non-​guaranteed work then go ahead and use this business. But, they won’t guarantee service and getting a timely appointments to fix service errors is unlikely. (Per the owners own words so those are facts). Now, if you want a stylist who will fix your hair and accept they make mistakes, go somewhere else. If you want timely appointments, go somewhere else. If you want solutions, go somewhere else. This business told me my hair was too short, but claims they «NEVER» have dreads fall out yet claim a person with two inch hair still had them after 3 months. My cousin who has 6+ inch thick hair had half hers fall out after a month. I was offered no solution via text other than my 5 inch hair is too short (false, asked two other salons plus this salon uses 3 inches as standard). Some of my hair was slightly under 3 inches, which I was warned and take responsibility and accept the cost of the few on the sides (6 total, 3 each side). I had an appointment two weeks after the first dread fell out after 4 days, but after finding out my cousins fell out during my issue I requested a refund. The stylist ignored my texts and calls until I advised negative reviews via a voicemail as action to be taken, and the response was a threatening phone call claiming legal action. The stylist refused to guarantee advising a 2 week appointment after my hair fell out is soon enough, and refused to refund $ 70 of $ 215 to settle the issue. She advised she never promised guarantee, which is true, but that doesn’t mean you charge your customer for hours of work every two weeks. She claimed defamation lawsuits on me and claims she won years ago, but if that is true then how can she «never» had an issue before. All the above statements can be proven via text message with the exception of today’s legal threats and non-​guarantee reminder. This is truthful speech and I will not let this business quiet my honest and truthful factual story about my review of this businesses poor customer service and refund refusal just because they don’t want a negative review. That’s harassment and threatening to consumers and you can’t sue me for telling people what ACTUALLY HAPPENED and can prove it, in court with text messages. The stylist claims she told me to discontinue contacting her, but at no point did that occur. She simply and probably assumed that saying «good luck and thank you for your business» was a request of non-​contact, which is assumed and not fact. Moral: don’t spend hundreds of dollars without a guarantee. I had dreads for 3 days and had issues starting day 4. You can use the above factual and truthful speech however you prefer. No opinions were stated above, but as I’ve been refused service verbally I won’t be sending any clients to here for dread work. I can’t speak to other services or employees other than the stylist I used who, for defamation purposes, shall remain nameless. The owner, however, advised no solution would be offered as I cancelled the next available appointment at there location two weeks after the incident was reported.
