It is a miracle that a town the size of Idaho Falls has a music store of this size. Not only does it have a huge sheet music inventory, they’re able to order just about anything they don’t have in stock and hold it for you free of shipping within about a week(or less usually). The staff upstairs is generally very knowledgeable about the catalogue of sheet music and the staff downstairs can give good advice if you’re looking to make an instrument purchase. This is a great place to get names of musicians and music teachers locally, as well as sign up for lessons and programs. Also, they carry a wide range of instruments for beginners-intermediate level players as well as accessories — everything from drums to stringed instruments. When I was a teen I would go to the library to check out CDs and literature then come over here to buy strings, rosin, mutes, and order sheet music. I live in San Francisco now and I don’t even live adjacent to a store that’s anything near this size. The location is also great for its proximity to the Colonial Theatre, the Symphony Office, and the public Library. If you have any music needs in Eastern Idaho, this is definitely one place you should check out.
