I needed a kayak repair, and they took care of it thoroughly and professionally, helped me secure the kayak to the car, and charged me minimally. They were great to deal with, very kind really nice.

Dishonest bike shop. Took my bike to them to fix the front suspension on my cannondale lefty mountain bike. They would not give me any hint as to what fixing it might cost. They sent it out to cannondale and more than five weeks later they called and said it was ready to go – total cost 140 $. Fine. I just wanted my bike back. Suspension seemed fine when I picked it up, and I rode it the next time and it worked. But the day after that, same problem – fork completely deflated, worthless. I called the bike shop, did the things they said, and eventually they told me the fork was completely ruined. They did not give me my money back or offer any consolation other than a half hearted«sorry». As if that helps me. They did offer to install a new double fork and compatible wheel… for $ 600. No thanks. I’m done with these terrible people.

Bought a bike from Sea Sports while living in the Cape for the summer. The staff was excellent and helpful. The staff spent several hours showing me bikes and explaining what I needed to know. I ended up buying a Specialized Allez and am happy with my purchase. The staff told me I could have the bike tuned up and fitted after riding the bike for a week. I would return for all my biking needs. I also had a good experience at Barbara’s Bike and Sports Equipment. I ended up buying a bike at Sea Sports due to the larger selection at the store.

Had a great experience renting a bike. Came to the cape expecting to be bored while my family had their beach experience. Instead I rented a mtn bike at Sea Sports. It was twice the bike I expected to find, for half the price, exactly the deal an experienced cyclist would dream of. They helped me get the info I needed to find the local trails, which wasn’t easy, as there are no mtn bike maps for Cape Cod to speak of. I would give them my business again in a heartbeat.

Had a great experience buying a bike. Gabe was very knowledgable and helped me learn a lot about bikes. Don’t bother going anywhere else. I can honestly say I’m happy with the bike and knowing that they will be there to help when I need it.

Jeff and the staff at Sea Sports are always helpful and knowledgeable. Don’t let the name alone fool you, they are an excellent bike shop with great«wrenches» and a good selection of bikes and accessories on hand. Since there was some confusion in another review, be sure to go or be directed to the huge area downstairs where much of the stock(particularly kayaks, and but also some bikes) is/are on display. You will not be disappointed in the knowledge and friendliness of the staff.

I bought kayaks here a few years back without realizing they were a bike shop too. When I bought the kayaks, the owner(Jeff) was awesome. Gave us great advice, a great price, hooked up our rack and showed us how to use it. Now I’ve been bringing my bikes here for about a year and find them very knowledgeable about bikes too. They’re very friendly and don’t try to sell you something you don’t need. As I noted in my tip, they also have tons of kayaks and paddleboards(and more bikes) downstairs. Certainly the mid-Cape’s best bike shop.

I had done a ton of research looking for the Kayak I wanted. It being my first one, I wanted to make sure I had the one that best fit my needs. Since I was driving from Maine to the Cape I thought I’d stop at any place that had one in stock I might be interested in. I could not get a feel for what Sea Sport had in stock, sure they have a list of «close out» items but no pics and I was looking for new. I called before I hit the road and talked with Jeff. Asked him what he had«in stock» and he stated«Over 300 to choose from …» I again said«I know what I am looking for, sit on top Kayak, first timer but not too bulky, will have a small dog. etc etc» yeah yeah got 300 to choose from.” Asked if I needed accessories would have them and of course he would. So I went off course into Hyannis to see these«300 in stock Kayaks» only to see 6 leaning up against the front of the building, along with 8 stacked in the standing racks(all looked like they just came from the ocean) and then about 6 or so more newer looking ones inside. Jeff«just left» and I had talked with Brendan. Nice enough kid, looked like there were plenty of accessories but. there definitely was not«300 in stock» to choose from. This was a HUGE disappoint. NOT the LACK of stock but the lie of even having that large of stock. The fact Jeff apparently didn’t really want to hear me out and have a conversation prior to me getting there when all the while, he did have(unbeknownst to him) the Kayak I’d have purchased. It was right out front, I just couldn’t get past the bs he told me on the phone. Hate to punish Brendan, nice enough kid, but Jeff’s lack in honesty lost the deal. I drove into Orleans and bought my brand new Kayak(Actually got a Nula) and all accessories from a great family run business, Goose Hummock.
