Make a reservation, get some Sapporo, eat some sushi. If it isn’t 5 stars your mouth is probably broken.

Several people had recommended Masaki to me since I moved into town. It’s a small cozy place with nice sushi bar. The sushi was fresh tasting and the menu had a lot of unique options on it. The signature cocktails on the menu were also very good. Many of the sushi places around the area are way overpriced, so it was nice to fill up on some really good sushi without spending a ridiculous amount of money. Our server was very friendly and made some great recommendations.

I’ve been coming here for years, and have never been disappointed. The service is always on point, the food is fantastic and fresh, and the atmosphere is awesome. We usually get a few rolls, the Maui Onion is personal fav. Husband loves the Naruto roll, and their Cape Cod roll is delicious. Highly recommend.

I’m a regular, have been for many years and I have to share that their sushi is unbelievably great, fresh and tasty, lots of seasonal specials in the winter. Inaho in Yarmouth is also a great choice if you are also looking for amazing sushi with a great ambience… Misaki is more run down and could use an update. As far as the service, great servers, talented sushi chefs, and reasonable prices. Reservations are a must, this place is packed even in the winter months.

Best Sushi on the Cape, hands down. Great atmosphere, warm staff; this place holds it own in any market. Fabulous! Call ahead, make a reservation. Very popular!

We got take-out from here, and it was OK but not great(and VERY expensive — $ 180 for 5 people!) We got the maki and nigiri group platters, and both were not that delicious(although the salmon and chicken terriyaki were quite good). The combination of mediocre sushi and really high price tag makes this a 3 star for me.

Taste ok and pretty overpriced. Most expensive udon noodles I’ve ordered — 28 a bowel…

OHMYGODDDDDDDDDD! Misaki is amazing!!! Rainy night on the Cape and we decide that we don’t want the typical Cape seafood fare and my fiancé said he saw some good reviews of a sushi place… hmmmm… Sushi on the Cape? Sushi on the Cape. It’s fish but not the fish that is typical of the cape. Fatty tuna, Salmon Belly, and my favorite salmon sashimi — THEBESTWEHAVEHAD! The chef is from Quincy and so is my fiancé(and he really agreed that this was the best we have had and we have had some great sushi in our life). The place was hopping on a summer night, even though it was a dark and rainy night, the place was packed, so packed that we had to wait for a table and the table we ended up sitting at was the only free one in the house… THETOMTOYTABLE! Fiancé is six foot three and about 250⁄260 lb… I am not that. we sat at the Tom Toy table and I had a good laugh about it. He wasn’t too comfy on the floor but I found it fun and comfy and different. Take your shoes off, get comfy and eat. He got a large Kirin or two and I got two glasses of some nice Sauvignon Blanc and then we went to sushi town, population us. Caterpillar roll for me and a whole bunch of other rolls for he. We gobbled them down and kept crossing and uncrossing our legs under the table and listed to the GREAT music. Our server, Reva was very nice and she was very busy but very helpful. The hostess was sweet too, rushing around and seating people and filling water glasses, bringing drinks to the table, moving tables, sweeping up, etc. I would definitely come back to Misaki if I am on the mid cape and I would want to sit at the Tom Toy Table again! Prices were reasonable enough too! :)

Cape Cod is sushi-starved. We need more. Much more. So Misaki is VITAL for anyone on the Cape who needs a sushi fix. Misaki is not elegant or updated, and the location in an odd little building next to a glowing convenience store is jarring, but the food and service are amazing. The sushi bar is right inside the door, zen tables are sprinkled thoughout and there are authentic Japanese tables which require shoes off and a cross-legged way to sit. I would stack the food against any sushi restaurant anywhere, it’s that good. Give it a try.

I discovered this place shortly after I arrived to the Cape a few months ago.(I’m here for the summer for work.) I love that it’s an unassuming hole in the wall — easy to miss, if you don’t know what you’re looking for. Tonight, I’ve made my third visit. I travel a lot for work, and finding quality sushi is one of the hardest things to find. I mean, sure, some burgers are better than others, but at least, they’re still edible. Sushi is either inedible or stellar. There is no in between. I’m sure my stars tell you what I think of this place. The only reason I knocked 1 star is because I’d love an all-you-can eat and half roll option. A la carte and entire rolls get pretty pricey for a solo diner. I know you can get plenty of great seafood in this part of the country, but you can’t really compare delectably tender raw pieces of seafood. There’s no comparison on the Cape.

Loved the monkey ball appetizer, very unique but delicious. Everything fresh and tasty. Friendly service. Doesn’t feel like a tourist trap

Went to this sushi place a few years ago. Picked up sushi for carry out as an early dinner, so it wasn’t crazy busy but there were a good amount of people inside. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming but inside it’s quite nice. The sushi was top-notch. The flavor and freshness were unlike any other sushi restaurant I’ve been to. I have had sushi all over the United States, and this is my favorite sushi restaurant by far. Superior quality sushi. I hope to come back again sometime soon.

Real Japanese sushi restaurant. I ate CHIRASHI so good. Very fresh fish and well cooked seafood. The chefs(Japanese) are very kind and friendly. When I come to Cape Cod, I have to come!

Not only is the food excellent, the service here is great, too! Tried it for the first time last weekend with my husband, and we liked it so much we went back last night and brought a friend. We made a reservation but there was a little mix-up when we arrived about whether we had reserved a table for 2 or 3, so we ended up having to wait about 25 minutes to sit. We didn’t mind at all, and chatted while we waited. The hostess was incredibly nice and apologetic and when we sat down our waitress said the hostess told her we’d had to wait, so our first round of drinks was on the house. I just thought it was a really classy, customer service oriented move. Gyoza, shumai, and assorted sushi we ordered were all delicious! Will be back again for sure!

This is the best Japanese restaurant on the Cape. Stopped by last night for an early quick bite before a movie. Had the dynamite roll, unagi and lobster hand roll. All ingredients are very fresh and aptly prepared. And by the way. delicious. The tempura is also excellent. Service was excellent.

There are some really mixed reviews here for Misaki but take what else is to be expected, on balance I agree with the positive crowd. My experiences with Misaki have all been very positive. The sushi is outstanding and the more continental dishes have always been well presented and absolutely delicious. My wife is a BIG sushi fan and this is now our favorite place, certainly the best on Cape Cod. If you have the chance try the Bento box and Dynamite sauce — it’s wonderful! The service has been only touch and go during a single visit, surprisingly when it was early and slow. Generally the service has been good and prompt with the appropirate amount of attention and professionalism and politeness. Just get there early, even during the winter it gets pretty busy at dinner time.

We stopped in at 7:45 Friday night. The place was packed. We secured two seats at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs are wonderful. The service is spotty but sincere and committed. We love the special rolls. A fantastic spot for sushi!

Nice place… reasonable prices. We tried a few basic rolls that they offer. They got the order slightly incorrect, but such it is. The waitstaff is kind and affable, but aren’t terribly knowledgable about the menu. The ambiance is quite nice inside, but the exterior décor is tough. Once inside, the place feels good. The eel rolls are delicious. We tried the one with cucumber. Overall a good place to stop. We broke up our journey to Provincetown with a stop here and it was fairly convenient.

Wow, there are some tough reviews here for Misaki. I must say that my family had a very nice experience. Let me start by saying I eat a lot of sushi and consider myself a good judge of quality and value. 95% of the restaurants on the Cape are EXTREMELY overpriced for what they serve. We are in search of those 5% who do not rake us over the coals for a few bites of fish, whether cooked or raw. Our last sushi experience cost about $ 85 and was served on plastic take-out dishes, complete with plastic green seaweed decoration like you see on Costco sushi plates. Misaki is a keeper, a nice place, and we will definitely return. Misaki’s prices are fair. It is not cheap, but definitely not expensive. Our sushi was delicious and well made. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and the servings were exactly what I would have expected them to be. Besides the sushi, the hamachi kama appetizer was absolutely scrumptious!!! We also ordered teriyaki chicken for my daughter and it, too, was delish. It was served with grilled, thinly sliced mushrooms and onions that simply melted in our mouths. For dessert we had three different kinds of ice cream, all creamy and flavorful, and all in MUCH bigger portion sizes than we expected. Next time we will probably split one between the three of us. We sat at one of their Japanese-style tables, on pillows on the floor. The pillows were actually on wooden leg-less chairs, so we easily reclined and were quite comfortable. My 4-yr old loved it. It’s true that the ambiance is not romantic or quiet during busy summer months. They have several larger tables that seem to be popular for families. We saw at least three groups with kids under the age of 10. So, yes, the noise level was up there. But I have sat next to sake-bomb drinking adults in other sushi bars who were much louder and more obnoxious. Our server was the blonde Russian and she was pleasant, knowledgeable, attentive and accurate. There was absolutely nothing she could have improved during our visit. Accordingly, we were happy to leave a 20% tip. For a sushi fix, I do recommend Misaki. If you want a quiet date night and a more upscale experience, you’ll easily pay twice as much for the same food elsewhere on the Cape.
