Visited iCape Solutions in Hyannis with a simple question. The sales rep was impatient, rude, and helpless in solving my problem. It takes years to establish credibility and seconds to lose it. iCape lost my business and developed a vocal negative reference. The absolute Worst support experience I have ever encountered and I taught sales & customer satisfaction at a Fortune 100 high tech company. Went to the Apple Store next door at the Cape Cod Mall and the sales rep was pleasant, helpful, and very knowledgable. Solved the problem in less than a minute and asked if I needed anything else. If you need Apple support skip iCape and go to the Apple Store.

Got a Squaretrade warranty? Don’t fret if the person answering the phone isn’t familiar with Squaretrade. Rest assured, this Apple Certified shop will not only be able to identify and correct the issue, but they won’t nickle and dime you in the process! Recently I had a device with a“broken” DVD player that was covered under warranty. Because it was covered, I spent exactly 5 seconds diagnosing the issue and bright it in with a «defective DVD drive». When I picked the laptop up(the very next day), I was presented with the laptop, with s working DVD, and the foreign object that was in the DVD slot. Many shops would have charged me to replace the drive as requested, but iCape had the integrity to return the laptop without unnecessary repairs. It’s such a pleasure to be able to recommend a shop like this that you can trust! I will continue to recommend this company as they continue to exceed my expectations in their handling of warrant repairs and replacement for Apple. Please consider buying local on your next Apple purchase. I promise you, you will not regret it!

My 17″ MacBook Pro(VERY«vintage») was having issues with its battery. Not only did these guys diagnose it quickly, they helped me out in a big way. They were courteous, good with the call backs/information, and extremely friendly. HIGHLY recommend if you have a problem Mac or need some accessories(like a cute little iPad shoulder bag — done.)

This Apple Specialist location focuses on 2 main things sales and service. Their sales team is revamped and very chipper since new ownership. All there are very knowledgable and I highly recommend taking advantage of the free workshops.
