We had a two night stay here. The staff is excellent and the hotel itself is very clean. However the bed and the rooms were not good. We had a king size bed. The bed was to big for the room. We had just 1 foot of walking space to get to the bathroom. The sheets kept popping off the bed and the mattress was very uncomfortable. If you are carrying technology with you, forget it. There’s no outlets to charge anything. We also wanted to use the outside pool but it’s kept locked. They say no life guard on duty. Inside pool has a staff person hovering at all times. Not sure what that’s about. However location was good for walking to downtown and to the ferries for Nantucket.

I read the reviews after I booked our stay, and was nervous about how our stay would be. Well, its like this. This motel is your typical motel that was built in the 50s /60s, its very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and not cramped. The bathrooms are updated and clean. If your planning on a vacation to Hyannis, and you are planning to spend most of your time in a motel room, then spend a hundred plus more per night, and stay somewhere else. If you are planning to enjoy all of what Hyannis has to offer and just need comfortable beds, clean rooms, clean bathroom after a hard day at play, then, Hyannis Holiday Motel is right for you, most of what you need is right out your motel room door in walking distance . The only negative thing I can say is, I enjoy vacations where you can swim at anytime, day or night. This motel closes its pool at sunset, the indoor pool is not always open and its just not inviting, it closes at 9 pm when it is open. HHM, put some lights around the outdoor pool and pipe in some easy listening music and keep your pool areas open, at least till 1 a. m, Open up the doors on the indoor pool and stop using it to store extra hotel items. You have the tools, just reorganize, upgrade some things and sell the pools.

Jason the reception person was very patient helpful sweet and very welcoming! The hotel room was clean but the pink sheets just threw me off and I had a hard time sleeping in there. It’s a little outdated. The AC was old and had a lot of dust in the filter. I decided not to put it on. I guess as that’s what you get for a motel.

Great location, reasonable rates, management very accommodating and friendly, rooms basic and comfortable. They afforded me an early check-in, and the owner, Steve, even upgraded my room. I had evidently overpaid for the parking fee while I was in Nantucket, and was charmed when the office manager, Gloria, called me to tell me this, and that I had a $ 10 reimbursement waiting for me when I came back to pick up my car. They also give you discount coupons for dinner at nearby restaurants.

I have stayed at Hyannis Holiday Motel three times. It is in an amazing location — can ride bikes or walk everywhere, including to the ferries to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. There is a nice swimming pool which is great on very hot days. The rooms are simple and clean and all the staff are very nice and pleasant which is important! When I go to Hyannis again I will stay here.

This is an ok spot to stay when touring the cape and islands, ferry across the st. Doing a day trip, leave your car here at no extra charge, now that’s a great savings. This is a family owned hotel, which I think is a plus, they go out of there way to help you, free coupons to area restaurants and attractions. Large amount of rooms, even let u use on weekends if they have availibility. Saturday night stay was only $ 69.00, huge rooms, harbor views, only comment I can say on the negative is they need new beds, bring a comforter from home to soften the hard mattress… everything else was fine.

I was just here with a group of friends for Memorial Day weekend. The best part of this place is the price and the location. It’s within walking distance to Main St. and has 2 clam shacks across the street and one next door(that has live outdoor music that you can hear from the motel). It’s also across from all the ferries to Nantucket. The price was insanely cheap… $ 380 for 2 rooms for 2 nights… however, they may have goofed. I had made reservations for one of their suites that could sleep 6. 2 doubles and a futon, totally open layout, and fridge was how it was described online(and in pics). When we got there we were given two rooms with an adjoining door and one of them had a mini fridge. It worked out… this way we got 4 double beds, and 2 bathrooms… but I found it odd that they weren’t upfront about a possible overbooking. The woman at the desk was really friendly, mapping out all the good spots and giving us of plenty of coupons for money off dinner at the local places. They’ve got an indoor and outdoor pool, too. Definitely your typical motel, nothing fancy but I’d stay here again for sure!

It’s a motel, so don’t expect the Four Seasons. but it’s clean, and it’s located in a great spot. You can walk to the ferries or to the restaurants on main street. This is a major convenince given the summer traffic jams on cape cod. Hyannis is a great hub for the rest of the cape too.
