Came for dinner with a friend who had purchased the cape cod daily deal. Started with their Margarita special of the week which was the prickly pear margarita which was actually one of the best margaritas I have ever had. Loved the unique sweet flavor and it was blended perfectly. I would order that even if it weren’t on special. Our server was awesome and very friendly but it seemed the kitchen was just a bit slow today. It took 20 minutes for just a side of guacamole. I suggest ordering a side or two of guacamole rather than the appetizer portion. Much better bang for your buck. We tried the Chile relleno appetizer which was amazing and filled with a pesto goat cheese filling. Nothing close to a traditional relleno but I was pleasantly surprised. $ 12 As all the entrees seemed to be, the molcajetes was pricey $ 24 but we split it between 2 people and still had plenty to take home. Again, far from traditional fajitas, served in a smokey red sauce with chorizo but tasty.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. We went in for lunch in Sunday. We had a great waitress in Meghan. The marguerites were awesome large and potent as well as flavorful I had a taco salad with chicken, my wife and daughter had the fajita and another dish. Good was great service was first rate The venue is clean and airy The prices are great and we will return soon

Food and cocktails were excellent. Ambiance was a bit noisy, with not so great live performer. Also after serving our cocktails, the waitress kind of disappeared for a long time, which gave our starved stomachs some anxious wait.

Usually the hot spot weekend nights in the summer. Solid selection of margaritas and drinks. If the weather is nice, definitely head out back to the outdoor bar. Service is always great, the bartenders know what they’re doing and are really friendly, even when they’re 3-deep buried in the weeds. Ryan, Shinae, and Mike are awesome.

Stopped by for late night out. Cute little area with flat screens and fake fireplaces so you can relax outside in the nice summer night.

Last time we were here back in the first week of July it was bad. They gave us a $ 25 gift card for a future visit. We decided to use our gift card yesterday and found things have gotten worse. There was actually a big red closed sign on the front door posted there by the city licensing board.

My husband and I stopped in for a drink. We didn’t eat, but the atmosphere is really cool and I hope to come back at night at some point to see it lit up with the lights and TVs. This place is really unique, and you definitely don’t feel like you are at the cape while you are here. We got the Coconut mojito which was really good, and our waitress was really friendly. I’d like to come back to try the food!

Beech tree-what an awesome experience it was to dine under that big beautiful tree. It didnt even feel like we were on main st in hyannis, it felt more like a forest. You would never know this little gem is there just walking by. A local told us to check the place out for drink. We decided to dine there. I had a burrito and my husband had tacos. His tacos were delicious, but my burrito was nothing to rave about. The salsa and chips were good. The chips hd some seasoning on them. I was not impressed with their guacamole. The reviews suggested that it was out of this world. In my opinion, it had a strange zesty lemony taste that ive never had in guacamole before, almost like they made it ahead of time and the acidity ate away at the avocado. We kept adding salt and hot sauce to it and that didnt help either. Maybe they were having an off day, but i was pretty disappointed. Service was a little on the slow side. I would return for the view but not for the food

Can we just discuss how freaking adorable this outdoor bar is? Yeah… let’s do that. So me and my date are taking a stroll along Main Street after a lovely dinner with no agenda, but oh what’s that I see? Twinkle lights lining the way and a chalkboard sign saying Tree Bar… this way… of course you’re going to intrigue me! So we walk that way only to discover an outdoor bar with seating built around a gigantic majestic tree. Yes… the drinks are overpriced and served in plastic, but the setting is absolutely too fantastic to pass up. You must go here for an after dinner drink.

This restaurant has such potential. The physical location and décor were great and the food was superb. However, the service left quite a bit to b e desired. We arrived early in the evening(around 6:00 pm). We were seated quickly, given menus and left for what seemed like a long time. Several servers passed by us with no eye contact. Finally the bar tender saw we were looking around for help and he came and took our drink orders. When the drinks arrived, still no server, so he took our meal order. Finally our sever came over and introduced himself and said he would be «taking care of us». Not exactly. A different young man brought our meal. This would not have been so bad, but the place was almost empty and wait staff was wandering around flipping towels, not attending to customers. I hope the management gets this under control as I said, the food was great.

I used to love this place now it’s so-so. Good for drinks especially the outside bar. The service is horrendous though. Food-wise, I stick with the burritos and have tried both the chicken and vegetable, they are both decent. Nothing blows you away though… Come and sit on the patio, it’s good for people watching and the back bar is a good hang out spot as well.

Get the nachos – they are massive and the best I’ve ever had! Awesome atmosphere. Drinks are a little too expensive, though.

I love tacos. I mean, I REALLY love tacos. Good tacos. The tacos at Beech Tree were so close and yet so far away. I ordered the Mahi Tuna and the Steak tacos while my husband tried the Scallop and Lobster tacos. All four tacos were ample and had amazing flavor, but the way Beech Tree Cantina dumps a bunch of cold tasteless cheese on the tacos is unfortunate(melted cheese goes a long way) and the presentation plates(while aesthetically pleasing) were just way too small to consume our food without making a huge mess. We both ended up wearing just about as much as the tacos as we were able to eat, especially since the outside tables have holes in them. Juice flowed straight from the taco onto my dress and my husband’s pants, despite the use of napkins. We also ordered the quesadilla — very good, and my toddler went to town on the corn on the cob. The service was very friendly.

Great food and drinks. Nice atmosphere to hang out in on a beautiful day. Plenty of seating outside under the tree. Staff is friendly and food is mostly Mexican based.

Fun, excellent atmosphere. GREAT margaritas. Poor wine selection, beer and tequila should be your choices unless you have substandard taste in wine. Taco Tuesday is a great way to sample many of the inventive versions Beech Tree serves. The table-side guacamole will delight your taste buds. It’s fun too

Got to love the Beech Tree. Nice outdoor bar nestled under a giant tree, hence the name. They have a small cigar shop just outside the tree and a sitting area where you can sit and puff your newly bought cigar. Their food is delicious, drinks are good. They introduced«Fish Bowls» this year which they stated are good for 2 people, but they are actually relatively small compared to «Fish Bowls» at other places. I would skip these and go for some other drinks.

Authentic Mexican inside, Cape casual outside in season. The big beech at the outdoor café is the draw and is worth visiting on its own(legend has it was planted around the Revolution). Friendly service, decent food and priced right. Good tequila selection as well should be expected.
