Budget Truck Rental

My husband and I came in this morning wanting to rent a truck, they stated we needed to put a $ 150 deposit. (Nowhere did t state that in the website but we were cool with it) so we are getting the paperwork started, then the guy states, «oh you have to pay a $ 25 youth fee.» My husband is 23 years old, we are not paying a youth fee. The man then tells us «anywhere you go will have this fee since you’re under 25.» RIDICULOUS. So I called u-​haul, asked if they did any fee like that, NOPE. So I told my husband that we will go somewhere else. Then man then asked, «where are you going?» I told him u-​haul, then he states «well you’re gonna end up paying more» I am paying $ 65 total. If I had went with Budget, I would have ended up paying $ 100 for the truck. I feel as if this man was coming up with these fees himself. That is something you should advise us of before we sit down & start the paper work process.
The name «Budget» don’t know who invented it, but it’s not for people on a budget. Just saying.

WORST service I have ever received. I showed up to pick up my truck that I reserved 2 weeks in advance. No truck, no answers, no help in finding a new truck. Poorly ran business and even worse service.
