As the other reviewer said, the exterior of the inn gives one a false impression of the interior of the rooms. I had a flat screen, an HBO connection, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, iron and hair dryer and they all worked well. The bed was very firm, the carpet and chair were clean and the walls looked as if they were recently painted. Oh and the folks who operate the place very nice. One point, because the inn is near an active rail line, I woke a few times as they blew their horns.

I’ve stayed here twice in the last few years, mainly because it is cheap. Let me first say, it is run-​down and looks dirty. It doesn’t look like a place youd want to stay. That said, although run down, it seemed very clean. Everything worked, the staff is extremely accommodating, and in all honesty, the king size bed I got the last time I stayed there gave me the best night of sleep I’ve had in ages. No joke. So if you’re looking for a cheap room with a good bed in Hutchinson, this isn’t a bad option.
