Really disappointed with the quality and customer service. Music and arts is on the recommended vendor list for HEB Suzuki strings. I had to return my violin at least three times because they weren’t Suzuki quality violins. Not necessarily the fault of the employees, but just know that because this store has lots of different types of music and instruments, they will have no idea what you need. Go to young musicians who know all about the quality AND what the teachers in HEB expect. Save yourself the trouble. What is the fault of the employees is the horrible customer service, while attempting to get the correct violin, I was told they were ordering it and would call me back which they literally always failed to do. After I finally ended me contract and returned the violin they continued to draft my account for two months for the rental. I called to ask for a refund and was told to call customer service. I refused as this was obviously an error on their part so they should fix it. This was returned with hostility and I was basically hung up on while inquiring how long it would take to refund my money. Unbelievable! Never again. I will be writing HEB to recommend this business be taken off of the vendor list. It’s horrible!

My daughter’s clarinet had a key that stopped working 3 days ago. Our band director provided a loaner and recommended Music & Arts for instrument repair. I called the next day and talked to Steven. I was worried they would take too long and cost way too much. Plus, I had an off-​brand: a wonderful LH Hutchins from amazon.
I was kind of a pain but Steve was patient. Steve estimated 2 – 3 business days and $ 80 or less so I decided to give them a try. I called today and talked to Nick. They already received the drop of today’s repairs but since I was so interested in the status, he offered to check on it. He called me back in 5 min and said it was done. And that he was going to drive to the shop, pickup and return to the store where I could pick it up today, before the weekend.
Wow, great customer service. It doesn’t get any better than this. And they came in under their estimate.
I highly recommend this shop.
