My grandmother lives less then 5 min from this library and I can remember going to the library in the summer’s with her for over 15 years. Now I am taking my five year old nephew in the summers. I live in Houston so I only visit Hurst two or three times a year. I was so pleased to see the new expansion finished! It was amazing how modern and larger it felt.
The librarians, especially in the children’s section are very helpful and knowledgeable. ASK them for advice, book suggestions, and anything else. Hurst also has a wonderful summer reading program for both youth and adults.
