Again, Mr Gerald did a great job installing new back brakes, and the cost was very reasonable Thanks Gerald!!!

This is a great place to take your vehicle. He is a great owner and a honest man. This is the kind of family business that we need more of in this world.

Highly recommend, will be going here first in the future. Fixed my illuminated brake light on the dashboard(at no charge) even though the problem was small it’s nice to deal with honest people, he even recommends somewhere good and not expensive if he can’t help with your problem(tire balancing). I laughed at the previous comment, but after having dealt with this store I too would glitter my card.

I love Gerald’s. If I made Gerald’s Garage a valentine, I wouldn’t just use a marker, oh no, I would use glitter pen and Victorian postcard art and an accompanying box of chocolates. and maybe a dog biscuit or two for Gerald’s dog who sleeps in the lobby behind the desk. After being told by the dealership– Teape Subaru– that it would be 700 – 750 for a broken axle, and previously having the other front axle fixed for $ 350 by another fellow who retired… I knew I needed to find a better place than the dealer to fix my little car. After phone calls to friends who are in the know about vehicles, I was recommended to Gerald’s because he works on imports and domestics, and unlike other mechanics in the area, he”s familiar with a Subaru. Gerald’s price for an axle: $ 217 including labor and tax. and he checked over the rest of the car and told me he saw nothing that needed fixing. On my old car, he could have made something up but he didn’t. Honest, trustworthy, not going to take advantage of you mechanic. Go see Gerald if your car is sick. He’s the man.
