I got the regular size bowl. I had the shredded beef with the Thai peanut sauce. Great service. And the food was done fast and was super good. I got the udon noodles with mine. Yummm

I love Genghis grill and no matter where you go the food will always be good. More on service, I’ve been to this location several times and every time it just never seems to be as good as the service of the one off of 35 and western center. The waitresses seem to forget about you and the staff in the back is very loud. When going to the bathroom which is by the staff door entrance I heard and saw them blasting music and cursing with one another. This may not bother some people but I’d rather the staff be respectful. I would definitely recommend Genghis grill but I would stay away from this location.

The glasses were dirty, the pork was brown(before it was cooked), the cook just stared at you instead of talking to you to see what you needed, the wait staff stopped by twice… once to take our order and a second time to ask if we needed boxes. This location has really went downhill.

Kind of pricy. The staff was very nice. Fun place to be. I had to ask for a item to be re-plentished and I felt it should have been done automatically. Yes I’ll be back.

I have never been treated so badly at a restaurant! I will never go back there again. The way they have their restaurant to get food is really awkward. When I first came in the girl seem grumpy and it just got worst from there. I was alone and so they stuffed me in a weird corner spot at the bar right next to where their cash register was. NOONE, I repeat, NOONE should be available to sit there. I was practically in the kitchen. Then they took forever to get accommodate me and I had to watch as my waitress walked right past me to do her work. The food was alright, very American compared to the other grills I have gone to. I didn’t buy a dessert because of how expensive they were compared to the small size. Plus where I was sitting I could see that they were just little microwaveable pucks. When it came for me to pay and leave apparently my card was having trouble. I was very kind and got this problem solved quickly. Since I was in the spot I was I didn’t bother anyone anyways and I tried not to make scene out of it because I don’t like to start confrontations. After I payed for my meal I had to manager come up to me and threaten that he would have called the police if I had stayed any longer and not payed. Again, I was not aggressive in any manner and I was trying my best as a good costumer to pay with no hassle. I have NEVER been so insulted by somewhere where I payed to endure such a horrible visit. It was an all around awful thing and I will never be giving that place my money after that awful experience. It was so out of line.

Genghis Grill has amazing food and is always fresh, never tastes frozen. I love the large portions that you can make for yourself and the honey soy sauce is to die for. The flavored teas and lemonades are amazing, but a little overpriced. Overall, the restaurant provides quality food and service, but is slightly overpriced for the dinner menu

You can’t go wrong with GG! You get to pick everything you want on your meal. Their ingredients are fresh and everything always taste great. Once you get the hang of the process, you Will love this place as well. It’s really easy to mess up your bowl if you don’t know what you’re doing. This is one of my favorite places to eat at. The staff is always friendly at this location as well.

I love Genghis Grill. The chicken. The beef tips. The new potatoes. On my second visit within the past week, the potatoes were really big odd chunks and as soft as I’ve ever seen raw potatoes.(Were they left out soaking or something?) when they cooked them, they were absolutely gross. The nice waitress discounted my ticket, but told me it’s a new supplier. Too bad. I can’t be a customer if they stick with this vendor. I really liked Genghis Grill.

You get to pick your own ingredients to put in the bowl, doesn’t get much better than that. Food is awesome! Love the peach lemonade, service was ok.

a bit confusing to start but portions are as big as you make it & the ability to mix & match makes the choices endless. my only complaint was the very weak cocktail. the premium price should bring more booze than ice… or at least enough to taste something other than juice. not sure if they increase the amount of alcohol in a drink when you order a larger size but it sure didn’t taste like they did. don’t waste your money on drinks. service is awesome. friendly & genuine.

Waiters and staff were extremely friendly, and service was wonderful. Unfortunately the food was not! I followed the«Sweet and Sour Pork» recipe to a «T» and found the delivered result most unsatisfactory. Drowned in soy sauce or completely flavorless, no one at my table of 3 was satisfied with their choice, both on and off set recipes. Drinks were rather strong, but my sister’s birthday martini was nothing like the photo(the barista had never heard of it), and their specialty non-alcoholics weren’t worth the price. Bottom line, the pricing was too high for the food. Maybe we just had an inexperienced chef, but you have been warned!

The food and especially the service at the location was excellent. Every employee I came in contact with was top notch and very helpful. One of the best food establishment experiences I’ve had in years!

Not really that impressed. It was okay, but for the price there are much better restaurants in the area that’s for sure.

Food is great and haven’t had a problem with the service. At least not big enough to be remembered. The drinks are good and the desserts as well, although a little on the pricey side. One star deducted because they removed shrimp from the proteins… COMEON! The shrimp was my favorite. But still a fan and still coming back.

Food was great but service was bad. Waited forever for my son’s pizza to come out. Our food was ready before his and we ordered his first. I don’t know if the a/c was out but it was hot in there. Thermostat read 79 degrees

I’ll just begin with saying the food is pretty stinking delicious. I love the choices of what you can put in the bowls. Big problem, though? Service. Really the server has one job. Drinks. That’s the only job they have. First we were seated and he took our drink order. Then we filled out the cards where you choose your starch. My husband ordered Fried rice with special instructions(which were suggested by the server) «no soy sauce.» We spent about 7 min loading our bowls to be grilled. We came back and there was one drink on the table(we were a party of 4.) We had to wait several more minutes for him to bring the rest of our drinks for some reason. That’s about 10 min with no drinks for 3 of the 4 people in my party. Why? There’s no reason. BEFORE the drinks arrived, the food runner brought our bowls 2 at a time. My husbands came with no rice at all. He was really confused. A few min later someone came by and said, «the fried rice is made with soy sauce. So we didn’t add it.» Gee thanks for the heads up. This is easily something that you would THINK the server, who suggested him ordering with no soy sauce, would have mentioned before the order was put in. If you order broccoli cheese soup, and tell the server you’re lactose intolerant, they would most likely just say«the soup has milk in it.» From the get go. They wouldn’t bring you a bowl of broccoli. Then the server came by the first time, and all of our drinks were empty. Even though all of our drinks were empty, he said, «do you guys need anything?» Ya dude. We clearly need refills. Is there even anything else that you have to do??? So we have to ask him. He brings back 2 of 4 refills. «Can I get you anything else?» YES. THEOTHERTWOREFILLS. I mean seriously? It’s not so much that the service is BAD. It’s just kind of stupid. It didn’t really make any sense. Our server was a young, shy-ish, blonde kid with pretty much no common sense when it comes to waiting tables. If you get him? Don’t set the bar too high.

I usually like Genghis Grill, though this is the only one I’ve been to in the past year. It’s cramped but location is everything: right next to Northeast Mall. The first big difference I noticed from my normal visits to Oklahoma Genghis Grill: the prices were much greater. Hey, everything’s bigger in Texas right? Oh, except the bowls. Their largest bowl(which costs a lot extra) seemed on par with standard fare from my previous experiences. Maybe we caught them on an off night, but the quality was really bad. Everything in the line had a slightly fishy smell(I mean, I know there’s fish). I ended up filling a bowl with some chicken, tofu, mushrooms, vegetables, egg… sort of making a Pad Thai like dish(though I put some sausage in, too). The result was blackened beyond anything I’d normally want. The others I dined with had similar issues. Everything just tasted… burnt. I asked the waitress if this was normal and she seemed unconcerned; it was busy and I wasn’t terribly insistent upon this so I don’t blame her. There’s a little TV thing you use to pay with your credit card. Don’t play games on it. As we discovered from the table seated next to us, the games cost money and they go on your bill. The couple didn’t even realize and had racked up several dollars playing hangman. There’s an app for that. This is just bad business. I left a little hungry and pretty disappointed. Can’t say I’ll return to this location.

The quality of Genghis Grill locations can vary and as with any restaurant you can encounter an ‘off’ day… I have not had any issues with this location. It is a smaller location and is outside of a mall so parking might become an issue. I love Mongolian Stir Fry places. I have it down to a science what to put in my bowl and which sauces and spices to add. I love my food every time. A tip is to mash down your meat to make room for the veggies and I add my onions last so it sits on top piled high like a birds nest. I like mine real saucy so I get an extra sauce container. I also get the very large bowl(& you get two starches), eat it slowly(which is hard because it’s so good!) and take your leftovers home for a great snack or meal later.
