So thankful for this place. New Year’s Eve day and I get a blown out headlight. Not only did they get me in on short notice but it was also 45 minutes before they closed. I drove up, they replaced it immediately and I was on my way. Thanks, Rare Form Automotive!

Thanks to Brad and Dustin at Rare Form Automotive I was able to relax and enjoy my stay at my RV site as a tire on my triple axle Toy Hauler picked up a nail on the way to Zion. I used Unilocal to find them and it was exactly as previous reviews stated. Excellent customer service!!! Brad the owner immediately puts you at ease and without having to ask– he said once we order you up a new tire I will have a technician come to you… This happened over Labor Day weekend and I was immediately at ease knowing that the trailer could stay put and I could enjoy the Holiday Weekend. When the tire arrived at his shop Brad sent Dustin up… He removed the tire and ran back down to the shop to switch out/​balance the tire and then come back to reinstall. What was great about this is that both Brad and Dustin answered all of my questions about changing a tire and the equipment to use as I am on the beginning of a 3 year trip. So now I know what to go buy and that it is the safest way for me to change out a tire if I am out in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. My only regret is that I don’t live here full time as I would totally trust them to service my Toy Hauler, Ram 3500 and even my Harley and Vespa!

I would give them 6 stars if I could. The owner (or manager) is just phenomenal. They were fast, nice and did a fabulous job.
We stayed in Hurricane so we can go to Zion next day. When we got up next day, we had a flat tire. We were so bummed because we wanted to go to Zion and than we were driving back to LA that same day. We were thinking we will have to skip Zion by the time we get the tire fixed and had back to LA if we are lucky and don’t have to buy a new tire. I called about 5 places and this was the place we took the tire to because he sounded confident that he get us in and out quickly while other places were too far or had 2 hours of wait.
The manager looked at the tire and reassured us that it’s fixable but we weren’t sure if we can drive to LA on it. He showed us how our tire was getting fixed, and was extremely confident that we would have no problem getting home on the fixed tire. In 15 minutes, the tire was good as new and we made it to Zion so we were so happy.
Best of all, he didn’t charge us any money. I was shocked and insisted on giving them some payment for the wonderful service. But he said, go and enjoy your vacation, and wouldn’t take any money. Who does that these days? No one but Rare Form! Unbelievablly nice and efficient.

These guys are amazing. We were coming off of Kolob mountain and got a flat tire. They stayed late to help us and had us in and out in record time. I highly recommend Rareform!!!

This place is amazing! I am so impressed, I wish more places had the trifecta they do.

And if that wasn’t enough, here we are getting towed in from the mountain at 10mins till 7 we’re still 20mins away and they tell us to drive safe and we’ll see you when we get here. WHAT!?! Who does that now days. (Best part-​when we get there we find out that they closed at 6pm and their hours on the door say 6ish! Haha)
The owner, Brad, couldn’t have been any nicer. And before we had time to get some water and wash our hands they were done. We had 4 new tires and a front brake job done along with a new rotor. Seriously, they’re that fast.
Taking all that into consideration, and that’s a lot, they then give us a total cost of repairs that was outstanding. For this time of night and after hours, they could’ve gouged us for all sorts of $…but they didn’t!!! Not even close. What honest, fast working southern UT mechanics should all aspire to be.

Honest friendly helpful staff compared to other repair shops. They didn’t try to scam me at all. They were the only place open over the weekend too, so I luckily wasn’t stranded for 2 days. They even fixed my car right away, and had comfy couches to take a nap on. The owner even spray paints art on recycled auto parts, it was cool browsing that as well. They also fix trailers, RVs, atvs etc. which is super convenient since they’re the closest repair shop to Zion national park. I am bookmarking this place for when I return to Zion next year just incase I run into more auto problems in the mountains.

These guys were friendly, honest and fair priced and got my Excursion back on the road in no time. If you’re remotely close to hurricane and need a mechanic, stop here!

We had gotten a reference from a family member to have our diesel pusher serviced (Pm) oil change etc we would highly recommend this place in a second no hidden fees charges and they were 100% honest with pricing and service this is one of the only places we’ve taken our motor coach and felt comfortable leaving it without standing around making sure the things we paid for were preformed we highly recommend and appreciate there abilities to do quality work thanks again!

I broke down on my way to Kanab. A bolt fell out of my brake caliper. They fixed it in 5 min and had me on my way!

Headed home from Bryce we stopped in the only auto repair place by Ruby’s to have our tires looked at, the guy said we needed 2 new tires and it would cost almost a thousand dollars! What? Wanting a second opinion, we meandered down the road and took a zipline pit stop. The very helpful fellow working there told us to go to Rare Form auto in Hurricane, that they were good honest people who helped him many times. When we arrived, we talked to Brad, who turned out to be the owner! He explained that we needed to have our air ride bags fixed, it was causing a camber issue and he wouldn’t even consider selling us new tires since they would be shot by the time we got back to California. He said that all that we needed to do is rotate some tires around and that would get us back home just fine. We asked how long it would take and how much it would be, he said 10 minutes and that he wouldn’t charge us anything, he just wanted to help us get back on the road home. He had three guys on the RV immediately, and it really took just 10 minutes! What auto repair place does that??? This one! We were so happy we still gave him a tip and told him to get some lunch on us. We plan on visiting Utah many more times and we know exactly where we are going if we ever need work done. Fast, honest, good people!
