Westin Heavenly Spa

I went here because my wife gave me a gift certificate for fathers day when I got home I told her, to save her money. This was my first and last massage and pedicure if they are this dirty and smelly. The facility really needs cleaning and new robes and way too small pair of sandals. The personel were fine and did thier jobs, but management is just not keeping the facility up. While waiting in the waiting room I noticed the heating /​cooling vents were extremely dirty to the point of almost stuff hanging down from them. The robes were dingy and sort of smelly not s nice smell at all. It convinced me not to get another massage or pedicure at this place again. Not sure what the health rating was? Never saw the inspection/​rating sheet.

Best massage of my life. I’ve had quite a few massages in my life (I have back problems where massage helps tremendously) and it’s saying a lot that this was the best. The interior of the spa is super modern and everyone was very nice. I went with my mother-​in-​law and we had a ball looking around and trying out the sauna and hot tub. The reason I gave this 4 stars was because we had to wait for 30 minutes after our appointments to even be seen. The awesome massage made up for this though.

So I’ve been to this spa a few times, and each time something wasn’t quite right. I’m just sayin…
1. They don’t always seem well staffed for the number of spa customers who expect to be pampered (considering the gratuity is included)
2, The towels aren’t thick and fluffy and the Robes are thin
3. The facilities don’t work all the time (sauna, steam room jacuzzi)
4. The lockers don’t work half the time
5. Sometimes the cleanliness is questionable.
When I go to a spa I don’t want to think, I don’t want to watch TV talk shows, I want total relaxation, quiet and «Zen-​ness»
This spa doesn’t make the cut and I heard it is about to undergo major changes by being bought out by a group of doctors who will offer medical services like liposuction.
Should be interesting to see what happens with it… I might go if they give out a free trial session!
