Ok. we love the food at waffle house. There are two major things about this location that are problematic. 1. They have a server (Susan) that is consistent with terrible service. I won’t bore you with details just suffice it to say she won’t be allowed to take care of us ever again. 2. No one (regional/​corporate) cares that they don’t pay attention to sanitation. We made a complaint to corporate 3 months ago after watching a female manager touch raw meat… and then literally everything behind the counter. Clean plates, bread, waffles, whatever got in her way. After speaking with the regional manager and being assured it would be addressed… sadly no. If it was, they chose to ignore it.

Man is this place hard to find. Somebody got hold of the land between them and the road and put trees in front of their business.
Food was decent (bacon was overcooked), staff was friendly and quick and we were in and out quickly (which was what we wanted). They could use a little moderation on the A/​C though. Too cold, she needed a sweater.

Waffle House is Waffle House, like some of the other reviewers mentioned. By Waffle House standards, it’s 3-​stars. The jukebox has to go. I love Metallica. I listen to Metallica 7 days per week. But no one should have the ability to hold a Waffle House hostage BLASTING Enter Sandman while I eat breakfast. A little dirtier than some other Waffle House locations. Entrance is a little difficult to find. I wouldn’t hesitate to go to this location again if in the area — but please remove the jukebox. Then again, I guess I should be happy Enter Sandman was blasting than some modern country song about trucks, lakes, and going to the river.

The best thing about Waffle House is consistency and this one is no exception, The service is good, tho NOT exceptional. My last visit, I mentioned I had to change position in the booth due to my ear problem (I have Meniere’s Syndrome and my left ear is sensitive to loud sounds) and the volume of the music (I ONLY said I had to change, nothing about the quality of the noise), the waitress said to someone there «we need to turn the music down a little». Their reaction was to turn it LOUDER for one song, then turn it off. This was very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I’ll be back, because it is close to my work place, but if the music is loud, I will simply walk out.

Typical Waffle House, although the entrance isn’t as obvious as you’d think. You have to turn up Cecil Ashburn and pull in behind the CVS to get here. Otherwise, it’s a great place for breakfast, I still haven’t ordered any waffles.
