The lone diner in Vic’s today, I tried the breakfast sandwich(see picture). It would be better if it were a Panini. The bacon was good, but the egg was kind of odd. I’ve never seen a round yellow egg like this one. It was almost prefabricated-ish. The caramel latte with an extra shot of espresso was delicious! The best part is the friendly staff. The restroom was super modern and very clean. This would be a great spot to telework with a nice cup of coffee, or visit with friends. I think it closes each day at 3PM. I read where the owners previously owned Victoria’s on south parkway… if you’re a local, you’ve been to Victoria’s. Try Vic’s and do get a coffee. I was sad they didn’t have fresh orange juice; however I did see some kind of frou-frou tea, guessing it was mango.

This place is just OK. For the price, it’s certainly not a ‘value’ though. If you’re going to pay 12 bucks and some change for a sandwich, side, and a drink at least load the sandwich up like they do at similarly priced venues. I bought a reuben sandwich and a drink and it was literally 10 dollars, no side item. The sandwich was about the size of one you’d make at your house. Whole thing was about an inch thick, and it was normal sized sandwich bread like you’d get out of a grocery store. You could buy everything you need to make this sandwich once a week for the same price at Publix. It’s not like they make their own pastrami, cheese, or bread or anything. They just throw it on the bread and slap it on the grill. You’re paying a 7x markup for 5 minutes on the grill. Side note — nothing ‘detracting’ from the place but it was filled with with old ladies when I went at lunch. Like a room full of 60+ old ladies. Not a downside or anything, just a peculiarity. For some reason, this place really attracts old ladies in ‘fashionable’ hats.

«The Village Idiot,» he literally told me to call him that and post that! I guess, this is what you get when you come into Vic’s! I decided to play a tourist in Huntsville, AL today, and I decided to try out a new coffee shop. This visit was most definitely not the ordinary day at your everyday coffee shop. I got offered a slice of the Italian Cream Cake by a complete stranger, while walking back up to the counter to ask Vic a question. Then, he insisted I take the first bite of the cake! LOL I don’t even know this guy’s name; but, the experience was funny and the cake was delicious! … … … Thank-you, Vic for the spirit-filled conversation! Such substance, and blessings to the business! FYI: I had a photo to post; however, there was a technical error!

This place is amazing! Apparently it’s still new to Huntsville, but the people here know what they are doing. I’ve been here twice and have been enormously satisfied each time. The food here is fantastic! I had a burger that was seriously one of the best in Huntsville. And their coffee is good too, go here instead of Starbucks! But the best thing about this place are its employees. They have always given me exceptional service and have won me as a loyal customer!
