This a small gem. There was actually a lot of things to see. We took my 81 year old grandfather and he enjoyed every minute of it. I highly encourage anyone to see and donate to such a great dedication to Veterans.

Admission is a $ 5 donation($ 4 for seniors and $ 3 for students under 18), and for that you are rewarded with a bounty of US history, often straight from the source, for your perusal. The museum is staffed solely by volunteers, and from what I observed, they love engaging with their visitors. Both gentlemen I had the privilege of talking too during our recent visit were eager to tell me about the displays I was looking at and share their own experiences with some of the artifacts the museum has acquired. Their website boasts«more military history per square foot than any other museum in the country» and I believe it! They have 30+ historical military vehicles, ranging from World War I to present and everywhere you look there is something new to discover. They also have a space dedicated to the men and women who serve that are from Madison County and a whole outdoor exhibit. It’s a really neat place and I am glad we had the opportunity to visit it while we were in town this past week.

Admission is inexpensive, like $ 5. Moderately interesting place to invest maybe an hour, perusing the displayed artifacts from our military history. I give them a four out of five.
