The Flying Monkey

Came here for a comedy show + it was such a fun venue! We didn’t get there early enough, but were able to find seats on the side that were pretty decent. They allow you to BYOB which is great!

One of the best places I’ve ever been to in my life I loved it so many artistic people and artistic work the prices are reasonable and the merchandise is wonderful wonderful customer service and wonderful building and I love theme of it

Flying Monkey is basically the center for modern arts & culture in Huntsville. If you want good art, plays, eclectic music, and all the other wonderful entertainment that industrious liberal arts majors provide, this is where you’ll get your fill. The warehouse space is vast and well-​used. It’s such a great contrast the the suburb-​generic feel of most of Huntsville.

We love this place! Never had a bad time there! Always lots of inspiring art, music, the very nicest people who are creative and open minded. Lots of things going on every week. Recommend you check it out.

Great place for art, music, crafts, created in an old building used for cotton and then shoes production.
The first floor has a large hall where several kinds of activities take place, e.g. night concerts, permanent art exhibits, plays. The second floor has a record store, a blown glass store, an auditorium and several spaces for artists. The third floor has been renewed not so long ago and has lots of spaces rented by artists, each one with a window that allow visitors to see the artist while working. The third floor has permanent exhibits, too.
Every Saturday an artists’ market takes place on the second floor.
The only thing that is missing is a coffee/​tea shop.
If you have time I recommend you to stop by and enjoy the environment, art and people.
