Tenders is a great place to eat. It is locally owned and is also a good place to watch a football game.

Great Tenders with the best sauce in Alabama!!! Puts Zaxby’s crap to shame!!! And the Texas Toast or bread you get is amazing… heart-stopping…but amazing!

Excellent, fresh kid-​friendly food. Their chicken fingers are definitely the best in town. We love the sauce & crinkle fries too. It’s a weekly stop for us!

This place is pretty good. Despite getting there pretty close to closing, the employees were still friendly and I was given fresh food, still hot by the time I got home. Definitely can’t complain about that.
The chicken itself is great, it’s similar to Zaxby’s as has been said but way less salty. But not in a bland way, just in a way that you aren’t dying of thirst while eating a chicken tender. Their sauce is good too and I’m not usually a fan of sauce like that.
The place is very clean, food comes out quickly. If you’re in the area and wanting chicken, definitely give them a try.

They will take a call in order, but they don’t start making it till you get there. Very fun waiting there for 10 minutes.

Tenders is a great chicken fingers & fries place in 5-​points. I always get a tenders plate which comes with chicken fingers, fries, texas toast, and tenders sauce. If you like chicken fingers and fries, you’ll like this place.
If you’re an SEC sports fan, you’ll probably like Tenders more than your average customer since it’s completely decked out in SEC memorabilia/​photos. There’s also local youth sports league pictures mixed in with all the SEC stuff.

Tenders is proof that anyone can buy pre-​breaded, frozen chicken tenders, fries, and Texas toast, secure a deep fryer, and open a restaurant.
I had just over an hour to eat dinner and get to a rehearsal. Our first option fell through. We were driving back toward the concert hall and spotted Tenders. I ordered a grilled chicken platter and was given fried. I didn’t have enough time to request a correction. The sauce is good. It’s basically an exact replica of Zaxby’s sauce. Other than that, this place was bizarrely empty, the employees weren’t terribly personable, the Texas toast was cold, and the fried food was bland and uninspired.
Save your money and go to Zaxby’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, or even Chick-​Fil-​A.

It’s not 5 star cuisine, but it is the best chicken finger place in town.

Tenders is a chicken finger joint. That’s right, the make chicken fingers, and they make a damn good one. Good house sauce too.
Like fries with that? So do they.
They also have a great salad topped with, you guessed it, chicken fingers.
Instead of fingers, they call them tenders.
This place is like a Zaxby’s without the stupid commercials. Good local Huntsville business to support.

For a chicken place, this is pretty darn good — and they have a healthy option — a darn good salad w/​chicken fingers on top. The salad also included mandarin oranges and strawberries — yum! The chicken is lightly fried and seemingly fresh as well.
The service was quick (order at the cash register and then wait for your order number) and the décor was very Alabamian, meaning photos of football stadiums, signed pics of coaches, and of cheerleaders on the walls. The restaurant was very clean, but I did not see a health score on the wall. Also, the drinks are of the non-​alcohol variety.
I would recommend this to my friends due to the salad. Everything else is fried.
