I’ve taken several guitars here for repair/​service and have always gotten good results at a fair price. I view this place as more of a luthier’s shop than a music store.

Five Stars for this Music Shop. I’ve built three guitars over the past five years and I wouldn’t take them anywhere else for repair or set up. I purchased all the pickups, hardware and electronics there which they installed. They also offer new and used gear at a great price. T. Shepard’s has been around since the 70’s and I would highly recommend this store to anyone.

I couldn’t be less musical if I tried, but I was on a mission to buy a gift for a friend. I was told T Shepard’s was THE place to go in Huntsville… so off I went to buy a capo (having only a vague notion of what a capo actually is/​does).
The guys behind the counter were helpful, grabbed me just what I needed, and didn’t treat me like an idiot for not knowing exactly what I was looking for.
I’ll definitely head back there the next time I need a random piece of musical gear.
