John from SMART Video Services was our wedding videographer. We were on a tight budget and were looking for an affordable videographer, and SMART Video had some of the lowest prices we’d seen in the Houston area.
John was perfectly professional — he was unobtrusive and didn’t get in anyone’s way, so that was great. But I suppose you get what you pay for in terms of the quality of the final product. Maybe John had an off day or is still honing his craft, but we were not impressed with our video — it was OK, but all of our friends’ weddings have had beautiful videos that are better than our video. In hindsight, we wish we had just saved our money and asked one of our amateur videographer buddies to film the wedding.
