I gave a good review before but this time our service and order sucked. We ordered chicken pesto pizza with no onion and I got a flatbread chipotle chicken. My boyfriend got a sandwich with 2 slices of meat on it and the sandwiches are usually full of meat. He ordered to go so we didn’t know until he got home with it. If we eat Schlotzky’s again, we will eat there to make sure it’s right. Very disappointed

By far my favorite place to go in Huntsville! They have the best sandwiches, I always get the pick two and do a half pepperoni pizza and a half turkey original.

Love this sandwich shop. «The original» is really the way to go. They bake their bread fresh daily, and you can have some fun with hot sauce here. Kid friendly, and a drive thru makes this a go to place for a busy day & belly growls. Yum!

First time at a Schlotzsky’s and was not disappointed. The place was a bit crowded, but not overwhelmingly so… lunchtime at a sandwich place so what can you expect. Be warned though that the doorbell does not stop ringing because of a consistent flow of customers in and out. I chose the pick 2 lunch combo with a Dijon Chicken Sandwich and half of a Grilled Chicken and Pesto Pizza. The Dijon Chicken sandwich must not be popular because the cashier said she had been there a while and didn’t even know it was on the menu. It’s a crunchy, toasted wheat bread filled with thinly sliced oven roasted chicken breast, Dijon mustard, mushrooms, green onions, lettuce, and tomato. Pretty good but from looking at the other sandwiches on the menu I can understand why it’s not the pick of the litter. The bread is not your typical soft sliced bread or hoagie bun. It’s more of a thin, dense disk that they’ve sliced in half. When it gets toasted the edges are super crunchy. This unique bread is what sets Schlotzsky’s apart from other sandwich places in my opinion. The pizza seemed to be on a «crust» that was very similar to the sandwich bread coated in olive oil and toasted although it’s called a sourdough crust. It too was very crunchy and I enjoyed the texture. It was topped with basil pesto, mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken, green onions, black olives, and tomatoes. The flavor was wonderful and the toppings complimented each other well. Gave me inspiration for some at-home recreation. I wouldn’t oppose another visit here if invited but I probably wouldn’t venture out for a solo trip. The food was good but not better than places closer to my work.

There is an over abundance of sandwich shops in Huntsville, so coming out on top of that list is a big deal. Schlotzsky’s has been around the area for 20+ years and after one bite, you know why. It is all about the bread. Today I had the pick 2 and chose half of a pesto chicken pizza and half of a Chicken Bacon Smoke Cheezy. The pizza has actually been my favorite at Schlotzky’s for some time, but the sandwich was really good as well. The bread is the best part of any sandwich or pizza. Almost a sponge like texture… soft, chewy and light. This location was very clean and the staff was friendly. Ill definitely be going back.

These sandwiches are famous in Huntsville and for good reason. They’re really good — we had an Original and one of the special sandwiches, and both were great. The bread is baked fresh on-site every day, which makes a big difference.
