The staff here is fantastic and always make you feel at home, Fred the cook is a funny guy that makes a mean tuna melt. Best tots and French Dip sandwich in Huntsville. Nice neighborhood pub.

Love the staff here, and the cook! Damn good wings and tots for a weary traveler driving 5 hours in and wanting some late night grub to sit and chat with friends he hasn’t seen in awhile… Overall the place is great, cozy enough to feel a lot like the«Cheers» atmosphere, yet not too small that you can have some privacy if you need it. Recommend this place for both the food and the service, I can’t comment on the drinks since I’m not a drinker.

A lot of regulars hang out here and they are a blast to talk to. Really friendly and a fun place to enjoy and unwind. Small and intimate, affordable food(come on. It’s BAR food. Greasy and tasty!!!) Go in… enjoy yourself and be yourself among friends.

I went here a couple years back with some co workers for drinks. Nothing fancy. Casual casual extra casual attire. Come here for a drink. Nothing fancy.

Last time I went to Ruggby’s was about 5 years ago. It’s been around for a long time — it was popular with my crowd in the mid 1980s. They serve a decent hamburger and seem to have one nightly food special a week. I think they still allow smoking indoors. They had a juke box, a cigarette machine, an area where you can play darts and the main bar + several booths and 4 tops. It’s located in a strip mall on University Drive at Wynn Drive and University Drive. The web site I’m looking at indicatesthat Ruggby’s in partnership with West End Grill, which means Ruggby’s food has probably improved over the past couple of years. Not that it was bad before. Go here for a drink or two and have a sandwich or burger. You will probably enjoy yourself and meet some of the regulars.
