I have used Lee’s Tailoring for decades. The work is ready when promised, and the work they have done for me has always been excellent.

Lee’s Tailoring and Menswear is a horrible place to have your clothing altered. I recently had a shirt slimmed down at this establishment and had a horrible experience. When the tailor pinned me up he seemed like he understood what he was doing and what I wanted because the pins were placed similar to jobs I had done with my previous tailor in Los Angeles. However, he did not taper the arms at all to compensate for the skinnier shirt. I asked him about this and he said not to worry because he would handle it. When I picked up the shirt, it was not slimmed down to where he had pinned it and the arms were not tapered. Equally disturbing was that the price was equal to what I paid my last tailor who was well known and respected in Los Angeles for his quality work. Naturally, I had the shirt redone, but I brought in an example so they could follow the measurements. Apparently having a perfect example in front of them did not help, and they still missed the measurements completely. It is common knowledge (and visibly apparent) that the human body tapers from the lats to the waist, yet the width of my shirt after the alterations was constant from top to bottom. There were more issues, but I’m sure I have bored you with my overly detailed explanation of why the tailors at Lee’s tailoring did a poor job. Needless to say I will never return to this place because the work is substandard. I will continue my pursuit for a decent tailor in Huntsville. Hopefully I will be able to post a positive review for someone in the near future.

I’ve been using Mr. Lee for years for my alterations, tailoring, and dry cleaning. Every time I walk in he tells me hello and asks me how I’m doing. Not only is Mr. Lee friendly, he also does great work and makes sure that the job is done when he promised. I can’t recommend him highly enough.
