Hardee’s of Huntsville

I ordered one of my favorite Hardee’s sandwiches, the Hot Ham and Cheese, and was VERY disappointed. At other locations, the ham slices are separated and look appetizing with the nice gooey cheese melted over it. After a LONG wait, I was delivered a bun, with thin ham slices stacked with cheese, stuck to one side of the bun. It tasted fine, but overall disappointed by texture and presentation. YEAH, I know this is Hardee’s, but they could at least try.

Used drive through, paid, then drive through employee disappeared. Waited and waited. Watched the manager help inside diners, but she ignored drive through and apparently didn’t notice her employee had disappeared. Finally the employee reappeared and no apology for her disappearance. Had visions of her in the bathroom… Lost my appetite.
Got a red burrito. Flavorless mess. Nearly $ 4.00 and it’s a flour tortilla with beans and ground beef, with a flavorless sauce and shredded cheddar that wasn’t melted. The fork they gave me to eat with wouldn’t cut into it, so had to use my hands… Argh! Needed a knife. Also, the container was lopsided in the bag they handed to me, causing sauce to leak out onto my car seat, and ultimately onto my lap. The 1 napkin wasn’t worthy of the mess. Never again. For $ 4, should’ve had toppings and flavor.

This location has been here FORVER. I remember coming here when I used to work on this side of town. The interior of the restaurant needs to be renovated, it’s age is really starting to show. The drive-​in at the location can be a real challenge too. It has a steep upward slope with a sharp turn at the same time. But thank goodness the burgers haven’t changed.
