I have shopped and worked at The Dream Maker and I have absolutely loved it since the first time I stepped foot into it! This is one of the very few places in town, if not the only, where you can get just about any crystal or stone priced from $ 1 up(EVERYONE needs to keep a piece of Citrine in their wallet!!). There is a HUGE selection of cool, unique gifts from cloisonné butterflies and beautifully handcrafted wire wrap jewelry(reasonably priced) to very useful smudge kits, Feng Shui items, Buddha’s and Palm Wax candles. Many cultural items can also be found here to include Native American, African, Andean and South American, Asian, etc etc etc… A great selection of essential oils, books, posters, pendulums, and divination cards are also available. All of this I have listed in this review still doesn’t even touch the stuff available in here! Not to mention the massage and reflexology services! To sum it up: It is your personal one-stop-shop for all of your metaphysical and gift buying needs :)) Oh, and the people that own it and work their are always so friendly and helpful you can tell it is their passion and not just their job… and THAT is priceless! ***PS: The Clopton House is the house The Dream Maker is located in and it belonged to a woman named Anne Bradshaw Clopton. She was a local artist that painted on spider webs(VERY cool!!). There is an exhibit of her artwork inside The Dream Maker in the very closet she used as her art studio. I think this exhibit is an extension of the Burritt Museum’s Clopton Exhibit. In any event, it’s a neat place to shop and to get unique gifts for yourself and others :))

This is my Mom’s massage place of choice. The owners Gerrine(sp?) and her husband own/run the place. I’ve been in several times to purchase massage gift certificates as gifts. It’s in a(sort of) bungalow style house with several small rooms, which contain the items for purchase and the massage area is in the back. The husband, I believe his name is Ron, designs and makes a lot, if not all of their jewelry. The pieces are unique and lovely. The owners are super-friendly and helpful. They remind me of new-age, semi-hippie thowback types, which is cool. AND, knowing that they hiked the Machu Picchu is a real«hats off to you guys» in my book! For unique gifts/jewelry pieces/massages and gift certificates check out dream maker, it’s a fun, locally-owned change of pace from malls or shopping centers.
