Loved the place. The restaurant looks great and the staff is real friendly. My husband ordered the steak and it was amazing. I normally not eat red meat and if I do I need ketchup but this steak was to die for. We also had the straqberry shortcake, which was the best shortcake I ever had. You can definitely taste that everything is made fresh and from scratch in this restaurant.

I had a craving for some fish and chips and decided to go here since I’ve liked their food before. You get plenty of fish but I wasn’t a big fan of the batter. It was like fried chicken batter and I was really hoping for a beer batter that you usually see with fish and chips. The slaw contained an odd glob of something in it but I didn’t make any complaints. This kind of ruined the rest of the meal for me. The best part of the meal was the lobster bisque and salad. I’m not sure if this was just an off night but I was really hoping for something a little better.

The Halibut was excellent but my wife’s prime rib was average at best especially for the price. Both of our soups, shrimp corn chowder was not good. It way too thin with all ingredients ground up very fine to the point there was no texture to it. The asparagus was excellent however.

Great atmosphere for an adult night out. Prices are on the high side but in my opinion it was well worth it! Food was great and arrived in a timely manor. Our waitress was very attentive and overall was wonderful. Only issue we had was once we arrived they told us since we didn’t have a reservation we would have to wait 2 – 2 ½ hours for a table! That is crazy. But we were lucky they had a high top table available and we were seated right away. There is no way I would wait that long to eat anywhere! So make sure if you are making a trip to Conner’s make a reservation!

Excellent service, wonderful steaks and great seafood selections. Came here for a business meeting and had the Prime Steak Med Rare and it was to die for. We ate family style ordering a variety of items such as the half order of the Isle of Shellfish which to no surprise was exactly half the cost of a full order, and the Chilean Sea Bass. We were all very full by the end and very happy with the service. They certainly know their steak here!

Ive been here quite a few times over the years. There have been a couple of service snags but the food is always good. Service is usually good. One thing I really like about Connors is that they focus equally on steak AND seafood. Everything I’ve ever tried has been outstanding. To offer a comparison, I could consider Connors to be similar in theme to Bonefish, but with much better steak, and a step up in price and quality overall. They take reservations and usually seat on time. Overall highly recommended in Huntsville.

I ordered pasta and it was good, but tasted of my hubs filet and OMG. I will have red meat next time. The only thing weird about the place is that we sat in a back room alone and I swear every employee there made their rounds back there for no apparent reason. It was very odd. One of the managers walked back there to the wall, turned around and left about every 3 minutes. Strangest thing I’ve ever seen in a fancy restaurant. Haha

I don’t have super high expectations when it comes to «word of mouth» suggestions but I’ve been told time and time again the food at Connor’s was amazing, I needed to try it out. I finally broke down and made early dinner reservations to see what it was all about. We waited, a party of 3, for less than 20 seconds to be seated fifteen minutes early. Off to a great start so far. Our server, Ryan, was at the table within a minute to get our drinks and give us a rundown of the specials. We ordered our appetizers, consisting ofa dozen bluepoint oysters and the sweet tea braised pork belly, and had them delivered speedily. I’m not an oyster fan but the pork belly was tender, juicy and the flavor was amazing! Served with Creole mustard and steamed Asian buns, I honestly think a couple more orders and I could’ve stopped there. Thankfully, I decided to go with a steak tonight. My friend and his wife went the steak route, ordering a 12oz ribeye for herself and my friend went with the special 16oz prime Delmonico ribeye($ 49 for the steak, but the price is worth it!). I FINALLY decided I’d take the 9oz filet, topped with black truffle butter. Everyone’s steak was perfectly cooked, rare for myself because it’s the only way, the seasonings were on point and the flavors from the dry aged beef you must experience for yourself! The sides weren’t mind blowing but still good. Finished out the night with a crème brulé and a surprise strawberry shortcake, courtesy of our server Ryan. Definitely ask for this guy as your server, he is one of the best in the business!

First the positive. The service was very good, not great but very good Waiter knew the menu and made suggestions. Atmosphere relaxed and comfortable. My wife’s prime rib tasted great and was just the way she ordered it Now the negative. I ordered the filet mignon. I asked our waiter how a medium rare would come out. He said it would have a warm red center. I ordered it medium so it would have a pink center with a touch of red. What I got was a cold red center. It appeared they seared both sides and sent it out. I would call it raw, not even rare. I did what I never do and sent it back. They brought my same steak back out with CHARD outside. It was obvious they threw it on the hottest part of the grill and burned it. I had to cut off both the top and bottom to eat it. Should have sent it back again but I was hungry and my wife was almost finished so I ate it, what I could. I thought they might comp mine or at least offer a free desert but they did not do either. Another suggestion, upgrade from the house wine. It will be worth the extra couple of dollars. Next time I want steak I will go to Longhorn and save $ 15.00 to $ 20.00. and get my steak the way I order it. The atmosphere may not be as good but the food will be better.

Excellent service. The lobster crab bisque is the best thing on the menu. The Boursin filet is outstanding with homemade Boursin cheese. The steaks are all so tender. My husband ordered the sirloin, and he said it tasted like a NY Strip. This is our«go-to» special event dinner. Love it!

$ 52 for a prime dry-aged steak that was neither prime nor dry aged. Service was super rude. Service has been bad both times we’ve been here; steaks were great last time. If you pay for quality steak, you should get quality steak.

Let me just say, I’ve only been to Alabama twice, and both times I’ve been to Connors. Okay, down to brass tacks: The pros: great, fair priced drinks, awesome appetizers(you HAVE to get the Voodoo shrimp), FREAKING amazing steaks, and very friendly and helpful staff. The cons: I don’t live in Alabama so I can’t eat there more often! All kidding aside, you really have to to this place if you’re looking for a great steak. I went in by myself and got drinks, soup, appetizer, and huge steak, dessert and coffee, and walked out only $ 50 lighter. That was the best food bargain I’ve had. Get on a plane, bus, or covered wagon and get your behind to Alabama and get some of this stuff! You won’t regret it!

This place used to be awesome, but they’ve clearly lost their touch. The still looks great, but my steak was overcooked and so was the lobster. My mom did enjoy her swordfish though. The waiter was nice enough to give her a bday cake too. I think he could tell i wasn’t amused. It’s not my policy to send food back. I just dont go back.

My coworkers and I ate lunch here yesterday. My team raved about the food and the service from our waiter, Mike. It was about 13 of us and I must say that our food came in a timely manner. The lunch menu prices were also very reasonable. The reason Connors gets 4 stars is because of Gretchen. When she called to confirm the reservation, she was very dry and kinda of rude. I believe in great service and Gretchen didn’t provide that. I say this place is worth checking out.

Meh. For the price I expected more. We made a reservation and still ended up waiting over 25 minutes. Disappointing. But apparently there is such a lack of decent food in the area that even mediocre is considered very good? I don’t know. This is such a beautiful area and the mall is really nice… but the recommendation of this place turned out to be a downer. I ate at a small diner earlier and quite frankly had better food and service for about ¼ of the price. The bread was pretty good… tastes a lot like Macaroni Grill bread. The salad was over-dressed and undersized. The prime rib was actually pretty tender and tasty, but way too salty. The chicken was ICECOLD. The service was substandard, visiting infrequently and leaving us waiting for a VERY long time. He hurried to the table moments after we were seated and asked if we were ready. When we said we needed a minute, he left and didn’t come back for a very long time. What kind of training do they provide their wait staff? Huge disappointment for the price and hype.
