TR Johnson & Son

I thought they were a little pricey but they got what I asked done.

The rudest and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. I will never use them again and will make sure nobody I know does either! I would give negative stars if I could. What kind of company can’t give an estimated time of arrival and then doesn’t even show up that day!!! The people in the office couldn’t be more rude if they tried!

I financially backed my 57 year old mother in a recent home purchase. During the initial inspection the home inspector found there was a plumbing issue in the basement, TR Johnson was called to address the problem. They came, fixed the problem and the house was closed up for the weekend. When the appraiser returned to the home the following Monday morning the entire basement and garage were flooded due to a bad repair, flooding to the extent walls and carpet needed replaced. Again, TR Johnson responded to the problem and their insurance covered the repairs to plumbing, carpet, and damaged drywall.
Fast forward another week and the house floods again. I cannot speak to their competency to do plumbing in new construction or remodeling but I wouldn’t call this company to service an existing structure, even as a last resort. They will cost you time, lost wages at work, property damage, and stress… SO much stress. They wouldn’t even respond to this 3^rd event, repeated phone calls failed to garner a response. We had to call another plumbing company to respond. The new company addressed the plumbing issue but the carpet sits, soaked, awaiting TR Johnson’s people to respond

A good, trustworthy –plumber. They might cost a little more than some, but you get prompt service in a plumbing emergency– which these old southside houses have. Remodeling is good but more of a 4 than a 5. They were slow to reply.

I did a bunch of work with TR Johnson plumbing while I lived in Huntington. They do good work, where usually pretty timely in getting back with me. The price may have been a little higher than I would have liked at times but you new what you where getting with them so it was worth paying more for the trust you knew they would help you if you needed it.
