Food was very good. The staff was adequate for New York standards. The yogurt sauce wasn’t the best but the lamb meat for the gyro was very tender and delicious. It is a bit pricey in my opinion but I would definitely go back for the gyro. The warm pita for the table was really good as well.

What can I say. looking for a quick bite to eat before we hit the Paramount Theater. Found this place figure I would give it a try. Was kinda in the mood for Greek food anyway. The place was dirty and unkept notice when we sat down. Waiter took our order 2 gyros 2 cokes side of fries. Simple right? Wrong .got chicken gyros with the other sauce on the side? Called Waiter back he didn’t seem to care, finally got the right food. Food was either way over cooked or old .I will not be returning. At least the concert was the high point of the night.

I just recently moved to Huntington, and was hoping to come across a good Greek restaurant in the neighborhood. Sadly, this was anything but. Granted, I had the food delivered, but I hardly ate any of it. The salad was soggy, no sauce came with our mozzarella sticks, and the rice pudding was watery. Maybe it was an off night, but the food wasn’t up to par

Loved the cheesecake, the baked clams, all of it. Delivery was fast and the prices reasonable. My coworkers and I would order from here quite often. So sorry that I discovered this restaurant in the last few months of my employment in Huntington!

Food was fair, service was terrible, décor is old and tired… I will look elsewhere for Greek food in Huntington next time I have a craving

Food is good. Seating uncomfortable & too brightly lit. I so wish someone in Huntington would open up a Greek restaurant with cozy booths and low lighting! (There was a place just like that up the block like 15 years ago! Closed in the late 1990s .)

I was trying to get crepes across the street, they weren’t answering their phone and I was trying to figure out if the creperie was open. I called European republic and they didn’t help, so I decided to call Skorpios. The man on the phone was very helpful and was able to tell me the lights were off across the street and inform me they were closed. Very helpful staff at Skorpios, 100% recommend this place!

Skorpios’ owners and staff make you feel like you are part of an extened Greek family. The food is so fresh and delicious that it is hard to choose. Soups are filling and very tasty. Gyros are memorable. And the pasteries!!! It is our go-to place any night of the week.

Never had a bad meal including the chicken souvaki. Very fond of this place. Priced right/good value. Yes, the service and décor leave a bit to be desired. But deal with it.

This restaurant was more than a huge disappointment. None of the food had any flavor(including the humos). How can lamb be bland? The falafel was ok but didn’t come with any sauce. The service left something to be desired– we had to wait a long time to get the waiters attention even though the restaurant was practically empty. Most importantly, my boyfriend and I both had symptoms of a food-born illness hours later. I would strongly recommend staying away from this restaurant!

Everything here is excellent. I’ve eaten here for years and the food is always very good. It’s a family run restaurant and it’s old school on the décor but I don’t go to a restaurant for the décor.

Very awesome gyro. I walked in Skorpios not knowing what to expect. After leaving I was impressed. The size and taste was phenomenal. It’s hard to get a good gyro in Long Island. You have to travel far, especially if you live in Farmingdale. Skorpios isn’t the best I’ve had, but it is good for out here.

This is a family run restaurant so give them a break people, they are doing the best they can. Sure the service in nothing special and it’s lacking in the décor. And yes they have a bin for the dirty dishes right near the tables and send the plates crashing into it, but: The waiter was friendly enough(son of the owner) and while not professional, very knowledgeable about the food. The food is good and not expensive. I’ve been here many times and will continue to eat here. About the food. They have the best yogurt sauce I’ve ever tasted and it comes gratis with nice warm pita! The salad is good, not great because it doesn’t have any little peppers or stuffed grape leaves. I’m not sure why. But the dressing which is on the table is very very good. The chicken souvlaki is excellent, order it well done, one time mine was a little pink. My friend ordered the chicken scampi which came with rice and broccoli and loved it. Their falafel is excellent and so is their hummus. Their gyro is good, just good. I feel like it was lacking something. Spinach pie is really good and so is their baklava. I’d say the baklava was near perfect. So bottom line, it’s your normal everyday Greek joint.

This place is delicious. When working in Huntington, I always try to stop in for lunch. They have a very big menu and the lunch specials have large portions. The lemon/chicken soup is delicious and the homemade salad dressing is to die for. The service was also outstanding.

01÷11÷15 What Greek food should not taste like, clearly obvious the passion was lost years and years ago at this establishment. Tried a chicken kabob sandwich took one bite, paid and walked out. Been to a lot of Greek restaurants and never experienced such low quality food and presentation. FYI try cleaning the place every now and then, that is free!!! And stop adding sour cream to your tza tzi ki sauce to stretch out the yogurt! only selected 1 star would not let me post otherwise.

I had quite a fantastic lunch here. For appetizer we ordered the hummus and pita bread. It came with lots of tzatziki. Free additional pita when we ran out. The Greek salad that came with my spanakopita was large and came with plenty of fresh feta, lower sodium. The spanakopita I had deserves its own Homeric epic by itself. So much spinach, and the slice itself was huge. Great preparation. My friend said her stuffed peppers were delicious, very filling. By the end of this feast, I slowly entered one of those intensely satisfying food lulls that is produced only from particularly nourishing food. The service was quick despite there being one server. I left with leftovers. The inside is small and casual. The walls are painted with scenes from Greece. Overall, I just can’t find a complaint in my experience.

Family owned and operated joint with delicious food and yogurt sauce that I could literally drink from a straw! I work around the block and they are always very friendly, fast & reasonably priced. Chicken is always moist & well seasoned. All in all, it is a great place

Contrary to the other reviews, and to each their own, I had a great experience here! Love this place! Food is always fresh and delish. I had the lemon soup as a starter(best I’ve ever had, and I live in the very Greek Astoria), then onto the flounder stuffed with spinach and feta. Mmmmmmm! The lemon potatoes were to die for, tastes homemade — like your own Greek grandma made it. For dessert we had the baklava — divine. I’ve been here a few other times(before Unilocal) and have had the calamari(very fresh), Greek salad(perfect), and their burgers(yummy). I can’t recommend this place enough.
