WORSTHALALBUSINESSONLONGISLAND! THEYALWAYSCHEATYOU! THESEGUYSESPECIALLYTHEIRRUDEMUSTACHEDBUTCHERAREALLCHEATS. I’ve tried to give them so many chances because they’re the closest Halal market to my house, but these people have cheated me and my parents at least twice! We ask for a certain amount of cut meat by the pound, pay the full amount only to find out that they do NOT give you the full amount at all! Why would I pay for 2 pounds of beef if I’m getting half of that? When confronting them, they say they’re sorry and that they will fix it next time. «NEXTTIME» seems to be their motto. Just had lunch here, stumbled on this middle eastern joint looking for the baklava place which was written up in newsday. They have halal gyro in white sauce $ 4. I had a Pakistani chicken dish over rice. Next time I want to try their tandoori chicken. This place looks like a hole in the wall but they put out some great dishes for cheap. Also their kebobs look awesome and they have brown thin afghani rice. OMG. Delicious.

This place is much better than the over-rated Noor Foods down the street. Don’t come here for the gyro, come here for the tandoor(clay oven). The chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, seekh kebabs, and naan are all made inside the tandoor. It will take about 10 minutes or so for these to be cooked as they need to be well done. They have both chicken and lamb gyro as well which is okay but the rice and white sauce makes up for it. They have a butcher for halal meat, your basic Pakistani/Indian groceries, and a few tables to sit and eat. My advise, waiting for good food is worth the wait.
