Food and service was great! Dessert… meh. Definitely making this restaurant part of my rotation now.

Fantastic restaurant. Our first visit there. Staff and service was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent. My wife had an exotic orange-​colored fruity vodka cocktail (the name skips my mind) which was absolutely delicious– I tasted it and could have drank this all night– but at $ 14 decided she didn’t need another. I had a few Hoegaardens. We both ordered the salmon, and it was probably the best salmon we ever had. Extremely fresh. Generous portion. Cooked to perfection.
Only criticisms are that the menu, especially the drinks, were on the expensive side. And there was no music. you could easily hear every tables conversations without much effort. The room needed some cool music. But they have a very good thing going here. The high quality, care, effort, and presentation of their delicious food make the price easier to swallow. We thoroughly enjoyed, and certainly will be returning.

Went to Crew with my girlfriend on a set menu night and they offered many of the same menu items, so no knock there. She ordered an old fashioned, which was clearly not made properly and came out bright red/​orange instead of the normal copper color. I can’t blame the waitress for this; they need to hire a bartender that’s trained to make drinks instead of relying on the waitress. However, the wait staff isn’t close to being off the hook. We were sat 20 minutes before one table that clearly had regulars and were treated much better. Our appetizers took about 40 minutes to get to the table and the entrees were out another 30 minutes after we finished the first course. The waitress visited our table one time while we watched multiple tables that sat after us get served before us.
Now onto the food… the best food we received the entire night was the wonton they brought out in the very beginning of the meal. The crab cake and gnocchi appetizers were basic, definitely not the best but not the worst either. My girlfriend’s steak was cooked well but it was butchered or cut very poorly. Filet usually has a nice curved shape to it but this had pieces jutting out all over the place. My tuna was severely overcooked as it didn’t have any of the nice red flesh and was tinted grey. The side items complimenting the food were much better than the main part of both the entrees and appetizers. The dessert tasting, which consisted of four tiny desserts on a plate, was an absolute joke.
Crew’s decorations looked more like a Pier 1 catalog or children’s arts & crafts rather than what’s pictured online. The crowning moment of our night was while we were heading out the door. A man, who I’m assuming is the owner, remarked that we had been in there a long time for dinner. I have no idea how he didn’t notice (in such a tiny place) that we waited far too long to get any food. We’re always down to try new places, but restaurants like Crew make me wary of positive online reviews. There’s no reason to spend over $ 150 at Crew with all the other great Huntington restaurants located so close.

The food is good but the problem here is inconsistent service. I’ve eaten here maybe 6 – 7 times. Almost every time it is understaffed and the poor guy seating people is also making drinks at the bar and trying to handle tables. Staff up properly and I’ll gladly add a star.

I have no idea what the rest of these reviews are talking about, honestly. I came here for restaurant week and was looking forward to a great meal… boy was I let down! Food and service left me and my group wanting more… a lot more!

Very nice! Lovely atmosphere including standards music … Food above average … Service was good, professional and the place is expensive but not outrageously so … had a good experience and felt like we got good value. Definitely would go there again and try other dishes as well as some of their extensive drinks (not drinking alcohol tonight) …

We had my mother-in-law’s 85^th birthday here. Everyone raved about the wonderful food and great atmosphere. Everyone loved the hors d’oeuvres hour, especially the duck wantons, the filet crostini and the tuna tartare. Our appetizer options were baby back ribs, mxed greeens or a tuna and salmon napoleon. The feedback on all of them was excellent. Our dinner offered a choice of duck, short ribs, seared tuna or vegetarian pappardelle napoleon. The tuna was perfect, seared n the exterior but tender and rare insidr. Our vegetarian guests were very satisfied with the pappardelle. My son and husband both enjoyed the duck as well. Crew has some of the best food on Long Island. I would definitely recommend this venue for an evening out or a celebration.

Just wanted to take a minute and write something about Crew. My family and I have had many dinners at this fine restaurant and it is always top notch.
This past Saturday we reserved the entire place for a private party. What a party they threw, John and his entire crew did an excellent job, can’t compliment them enough. The hors d’oeuvres were great and passed out plenty. The bar was cranking out drinks almost as quick as our guests could drink them. The main course, let’s just say the Filet I had, was probably the biggest I’ve ever had probably the size of a cantaloupe, well close to it. Normally I go seafood there.
If you have ever been to Huntington and never been to Crew, you’ve been missing out.

What a wonderful experience! The atmosphere is intimate. The staff… especially the manager John, is warm, welcoming and attentive. The food is superb! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Disappointing… everything was just ok. Nothing blew us away, but I can’t say anything was bad either. I was just expecting more. Duck was just ok. Dessert sampler was lackluster… would i go back? Probably not.

We had dinner here a couple of nights ago and everything was fantastic, including the service. The duck is some of the best I’ve ever tasted and the scallop appetizer was delicious and big enough to be an entrée. More people should try this place. It’s in a nice spot down by the water and away from the busy middle of town. You’ll be glad you stopped in.

Top Huntington restaurant! Order the duck… it’s the best on Long Island. The drink menu is unique and the staff is very friendly. Atmosphere is warm and reservations are recommended. This is my «go-​to» spot when I am in town. Crew has become my favorite Huntington restaurant when I am looking for great food with a romantic setting. Also very accommodating to allergies.

ummmm… yes eveeything taste soooo good… but our waitress kourtney was a ghost… but thank God for jessica coming in to save the day cause she took our order n kept on checking on us while kourtney was still a ghost aka no where to be find to get our order but after jessica brought us our bread… then she appear to come in ask us if everything was okay… i was like smh… but overall the food was great will be back

After spending 5 days eating in and around Huntington while on vacation, Crew gets my vote of amazing! For the price ($ 27 – 36 entrees) I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, the portion size and presentation. Compared to other restaurants of the same price range offering dishes with similar ingredients, Crew surpassed them all. Great ambiance, wonderful staff and the food was delicious. Please try one of their signature cocktails — ours were excellent and a great start to an amazing evening of food. As a San Francisco native and lover of food, next time I’m anywhere near Huntington, I’m coming back here for dinner. Cheers!

It’s a Huntington gem tucked away a few minutes from the bustle of Main Street. It’s unassuming presence from the street does not allude to the crafty hand that goes into the preparation of its dishes. The preparation of the duck is best I’ve ever had.

I’ve eaten at Crew many times (even going back to when it was Aix en Provence) and always thought the food and service were very good. In our visit last week this was still the case. However our visit was marred by their decision to turn off the A/​C and open the front doors allowing Al fresco dinning. While it wasn’t very hot by normal August early evening standards, it was hot & humid enough for the 3 of us to leave the restaurant sweaty & uncomfortable. Moreover, the two of us with allergies were left with stuffed noses and red watery eyes. I guess we’ll wait for November to go back.

I do not know where to start! Having my bridal shower at crew was a true pleasure. Being the bride and having to assist my bridal party in finding a place last minute due to unforeseen circumstances I went into panic mode, but the minute I happened across Crew and spoke to the manager John I was instantly at ease. During my wedding planning I’ve learned that working with someone warm, accommodating, and creative are priceless even if the service or venue is not «perfect,» but I do not have one negative thing to say about my experience at Crew. Seriously. And being a proudly self described snotty New York foodie I think that’s says a lot. I also know that many of our family and friends will be back to the restaurant for dinner and myself when back in from the city.
The venue is perfect for a shower or any private party. The décor is adorable, you get it all to yourself, the food and wine were amazing (and affordable!) and John and his staff are very professional while making everyone feel at home. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Everything was good, but way too over priced. For my money, I would go to any of the other restaurants in Huntington.

My girlfriend and I came late on Friday night and were very pleased with the atmosphere inside. The restaurant was still busy but thinning as we went throughout our meal which made the ambience even better. Leslie was our waiter who was helped by Kirk and both made us feel very welcome. The food was really excellent and although the cocktails were somewhat pricey, the duck and the black bass meals were excellent. We are never in a rush to finish a meal and were happy not to feel rushed out the door. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to coming back soon,

I was surprised at the food here after reading all the glowing meals. Came here with my gf and another couple. And we all had decently high expectations. Unfortunately everything, cept for one appetizer, fell short.
For appetizer, I ordered the 12 hour braised baby back ribs, two others ordered the crab cake, and then lastly if i remember correctly there was a foie gras appetizer special. The foie gras appetizer was not good, the crabcakes were okay, too much breading, but the portion was a nice size. The only saving grace was the baby back ribs were absolutely incredible. Cooked perfectly, falling off the bone, and the bourbon glaze had a wonderful taste to it.
For dinner, there were three orders of duck breast, and I was different and ordered the Tuna. The duck, just, was not good… It was dry, slightly overcooked, all ordered medium-​rare, but overally, just was not worth getting. As for the tuna, it was pretty much the same thing, it was not appetizing.
Dessert, i honestly don’t really remember, but we were so disappointed with our meals we kinda just said screw it.
I will say the place is nice inside, and during the summer with its outdoor seating is pretty nice. Would I go back here, probably not, if i did, i’d only go to sit at the bar and order more of the baby back ribs.
