Gourmet Everyday

There are so many positive aspects about G.E., but it has room to improve.
First of all, the food IS healthy & it is real whole food. Some of it is truly delcious, they have a wonderful line of soups called Beautiful, they are heavenly. The breakfast options are perfect & I feed the egg quiches to my kids for a complete breakfast daily. They are dependable/​reliable with delivery and orders are always fulfilled completely.
However, there a few tips Id like to give, bc I believe in this business & wish them everything wonderful.
— some of the food is WAY better than others. Certain dishes are quite good, whereas others could use some help. For example, their turkey is delish but their chicken is kind of gross with a weird boiled taste. Ive had WONDERFUL items such as their turkey lettuce wraps, beautiful soup, fresh kale salads. And other not so good items like the lentil soup which is really bland, chicken anything, cobb salad which doesnt taste totally fresh.
–sometimes the food seems to have been frozen too long. Their pumpkin muffins are some times wonderfully amazing and sometimes dried out really badly. Infact their pita bread is pretty much the same– dry. Ive had eggplant wraps where the mxture tastes like its been frozen for a bit too long as well.
I think they should swap out their chicken for turkey bc the chicken is pretty rough.

I wanted to take the time to update my review of Gourmet Everyday food service. I cannot express how happy I am with the food! Gourmet Everyday has made my life less complicated. I have a lot going on so its difficult to prepare healthy food, plan out calorie intake, nutrition… all while making sure it tastes good. I don’t feel as guilty when I can’t get a workout in if I’m eating healthy. Sure, it does cost some money but its worth it. I used to spend much more per week eating out everyday and then blowing up like a balloon from all of the sodium!
I pick up my food at Mill’s Pharmacy (which is the nicest, classiest pharmacy I have ever been in!) where they hold on to your food until you pick it up. My package is always nice and cool when I get there so I know that take great care of it :)
I normally don’t take time to review anything. but this is one exception that I felt I must give credit where credit is deserved. Come on now, where else are you going to get dark chocolate avocado mousse??? It was ridiculously and surprisingly tasty. yummmmmmmmm

Gourmet Everyday. Okay, I guess that is subjective. If your idea of gourmet is a Banquet frozen meal or Lean Cuisine than yes, you may be impressed.
