Taqueria Mexico Lindo

Amazing! When not extremely busy, I’m a generally lazy person so rarely do I find myself compelled to write a review, but in this case I had to take a minute. This place is the real deal. Had I only known that there was such amazing and authentic Mexican food in my backyard I wouldn’t have been trekking out to my previous go to spot in Farmingdale for my taco fix. I am on a mission to try everything on the menu (except the tongue, I can’t fox with the tongue lol) and thus far everything I’ve conquered has been amazing. The tacos are beyond legit and delicious, as are the tostadas. As far as the meats go, every one I’ve tried; the al pastor, chorizo, carne asada and chicken are all the bomb. Let’s take a moment to talk about the chicken… I am a chicken lunatic. I dissect and dissect and often come up with a vein, some gristle, some gelatinous fat and it is for this reason I rarely every order chicken out. In the world of otherwise substandard chicken, I have found perfection; I have found the holy grail. Delicious yet mildly seasoned shredded white meat without any imperfections… and trust me, I’ve ordered it several times and I keep checking but I’m fairly convinced they have a similar chicken affliction as I because I am never disappointed… AMAZING! There is nothing more pleasing to me than to be able to bite into something without snagging a chunk of mystery thus forcing me to spit it out and begin the dissection process… not here my friends! You can bite with confidence ;). In all fairness, white meat is white meat and can be dry so lube it up with some lime and hot sauce and enjoy the ride to heaven. Everyone I’ve put on to this spot has thanked me and every time I give someone a taste I’m guaranteed to lose half my plate but I’m glad to spread the word so this place never closes. The absolute best part of it all, I’m stuffed and satisfied (two things that don’t always go hand in hand), for less than $ 10 and I feel like I made a healthy choice because everything is fresh, simple and never greasy. If you like authentic Mexican then this is the place for you! Dead ass… :P

As a Texan transplant on Long Island, finding good quality, delicious Mexican food has been a mission for me. Luckily, I found Mexico Lindo. The place is clean, the food consistent and delicious, and the service quick. I highly recommend their steak tacos, the huevos a la mexicana, and the sopes. The salsa is spicy, fresh, and yummy. The chips are always a perfect fry and crunch, but occasionally have the same bleachy smell the drink cooler has. It’s not pleasant, but you can’t taste it, and at least it’s a clean smell? They also have a great selection of Mexican juices, sodas, and candy that are hard to find elsewhere. Oh, they’re also super cheap!

Really good food. Really fast service. Really good prices! I went for lunch and I will return!

I shouldn’t give a 5 star review after going someplace once… but for the amount of love that went into my tacos for such a low price… yes! How many places make a plate of three tacos look like a work of art??? I don’t live near Huntington… but if I did!!!

A hidden gem in Huntington Station, conveniently located on rt 110 just blocks away from Huntington Station’s B side. This tiny «hole in the wall» of a restaurant serves up fresh authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. There are only a few tables and chairs, and the atmosphere feels more like a bodega than a «sit down» restaurant. But if you are in the mood for no– frills dining, or carry out, then this is a great option. You could easily feed a family of four here for about $ 20.

Fantastic, authentic Mexican food! The chicken tacos and carnitas are great! Right on Route 110 in Huntington Station.
