We have tried a variety of dishes, and everything is delicious. We even ordered an unusual pie that wasn’t on the menu and was accommodated. I may not have relayed this specialty pie properly, but even with the mixup, it was still awesome. We ordered a Sicilian pie wanting the pizza all vodka sauce on top. Was supposed to be without the typical Sicilian red sauce, but as strange as it sounds, it actually worked. Happy Eats!

Food ok but the pizza dough has a strange aftertaste. Unfortunately it takes area from the experience of having coal fired pizza. Management is nice but the pizza is less than a 5 on a 10 scale. Order dishes and u will be ok.

Obviously on long island there are good pizzerias everywhere but Monaco’s stands out above the rest in making top tier pizza. The margherita which is their signature pie has quality fresh mozzarella, tasty homemade sauce and the coal oven makes you wanna eat every last bite of the crust. The grandma pizza has a savory plum tomato sauce and the regular has a nice balance of cheese and sauce with that delightful crust. The pizza is good for take out but nothing beats having it in store right after it comes out of the oven. The vodka sauce they use for penne or the Alla vodka pizza is out of this world. The Monaco pizza is one of my favorite pies to get from here. It has crumbled sausage, red peppers, and onions. The peppers are phenomenal and they too are oven roasted. You could tell the ingredients used in the food is fresh. The inside is clean and nicely decorated and the staff is very friendly and courteous. This place is a hidden gem and must be tried if your in the area.

This is a really great place. My friends and I go about once every week or so. It has just a basic pizzeria-type atmosphere but the food is delicious and fresh. I order grilled chicken with broccoli rabe every time I go. The best part is that they are BYOB! Nothing like enjoying some good wine with good friends.

One of the best pizza’s I’ve encountered on Long Island. We ordered a large margherita with pepperoni. The sauce offers a balance of sweetness and acidity. The fresh mozzarella is supple, without smothering the crust. The crust is thin, slightly crispy, and also a bit doughy. The pepperoni is thinly sliced and the give on it compliments the pie. Hints of basil offer freshness and green to the pie. The big attraction is that this beer is delectable, and grease is barely a sight to be seen. This may look like a standard pizzeria, but this pie offers a wonderful balance between NY style and Neapolitan style. A truly spectacular pizza.

Just had a birthday party for my nephew and Monaco’s catered. We had the chicken francese, eggplant parmesean and the baked ziti. All of which were delicious! The owner even extended his professionalism by calling and asking how the food was. I highly recommend Monaco’s: for dine-in or cater

Pretty good pizza. Sometimes missing a little salt. I usually get the vodka with sausage and mushrooms well done. Nice people behind the counter. Have not really tried anything else.

Let me tell you how I love this place. When I made the mistake of moving to Huntington station, I tried what seemed like a million different pizza places all with the same issue: the pizza tasted awful. Then I found Monaco’s pizza and everything changed. The pizza tastes fresh and very delicious, and ranks up there with my all-time favorite pizza place: Gino’s on Main Street in Farmingdale, NY. I’ve tried the regular Neapolitan pie, as well as the grandma and white slices, all with complete satisfaction. This place knows how to make pizza. My only issue is their crust could be a bit thicker in order to avoid a floppy piece of pizza as it does run a bit too thin, however upon requesting a bigger crust for my pie Monaco’s happily obliged. With all that has gone wrong for me with Huntington Station since I have moved here, I can honestly say Monaco’s has been one of the few bright spots — and that’s probably because it isn’t in the heart of Huntington station. Thankfully they deliver over here.

Some of the best pizza New York has to offer. A different taste in its coal fired style, which is delightful. The pizza is phenomenal I tried a buffalo chicken which had a nice kick but wasn’t overwhelmingly spicy. There buffalo calamari is to die for. The owner was extremely courteous and friendly as well. Definitely worth your while for some great food that comes from the heart.

Ordered pizza from Monaco’s on Super Bowl Sunday to be delivered via GrubHub. Delivery came fast, which was great, but the pizza was just OK. Could be that I’ve been spoiled with really great coal fired pizza(Grimaldis all over NY, Salvatores in Port Washington, even Anthony’s Coal Fired which is pretty much a chain), but I don’t think that is the case. The Margherita pie just didn’t have much flavor. I also had a buffalo pie, which was better than the Margherita pie but still not very good and a white pie which was the best of them all. Not sure I would order again as there are much better options out there.

First time ordering delivery from this place. I was craving really good pizza and didn’t want the chain restaurant pizza like dominos or papa johns. Ordered a large pie and ended waiting 1.5 hours for it even though I was less than a 10 min drive. I called twice to see what was going on and they told me delivery was backed up. By the time it got to me the pizza was cold and I ended up reheating it in my oven. Don’t know if the mediocre taste was because it got cold and been sitting out for too long or it just wasn’t as good as other pizza joints. I was so disappointed since I wanted to like this place. The only nice thing I can say was that the staff apologized to me and sounded nice on the phone. However it just couldn’t make up for everything else. My recommendation is if u want really good pizza, just make the effort to drive to huntington village and go to Vincent’s or Rosa’s.

I got a personal Monaco’s pie(with mushrooms added) it was the perfect size to fill you up. All of the ingredients were super fresh and the crumbled sausage made the pie. The place is very clean and service was good. Pizza brought me back to Brooklyn. Check it out, I’ll be back.

I was unimpressed with the Neapolitan Pie. The crust was thin but soft; it didn’t have any crisp or crunch to it. The cheese and sauce were fine. All in all, it was a standard pie. In terms of experience, I liked that the restaurant was clean and that the staff was friendly!

This place is super good! Went twice while visiting Long Island and really enjoyed it both times. I recommend the Garlic Knots, Seafood Salad, and the Monaco’s Pizza. That one has sausage and some veggies. The pizza is large but the crust is really, really thin and perfectly chewy, and I even ate the crust! Sometimes I don’t like eating the crust because it gets heavy, but they do a really good job with the dough. I also tried a Veggie pizza and added grilled chicken. Unfortunately for me, I thought it had way too many toppings and it got just slightly soggy in the middle(probably due to the amount of veggies). The crust was still amazing. It was definitely tasty, but I really liked the Monaco’s pizza. Next time I’m in Long Island I’d probably get something simple like the Grandma’s pizza, etc.

There are no shortage of pizza places on Long Island, but this has to be one of my favorites. We decided to try it out as there was a Living Huntington deal. When I arrived to pick up my pie, the staff was warm, friendly & were passionate about their pizza. One bite of their signature Monaco’s pie & I can see why. The crust was the perfect blend of dough and crunch. The quality of the cheese and sauce were excellent. The toppings were fresh and well paired. Fantastic pizza at a fair price & great staff. A win all around.

Monaco coal fired pizza… in a small shopping strip of stores on Jericho Tpk. just past route 110. is a new pizza store. Inside are glittery tables, two tv’s on the wall, behind the counter 5 people working(busy preparing, taking a few phone orders), a kitchen in the rear, and a small brick oven facing the counter. On the counter they have two pizza’s out. TWO. A white, and a margherita which IS their regular. Interesting. Think different altogether. THIN somewhat chewy/crisp coal fired crust. Tangy top layer of sauce, thinner slices of cheese underneath. Coal fired in a small brick oven behind the counter. After stopping here I headed over to Umburtos which was the complete opposite. Tons of pizzas, tons of cheese, and looking spectacular. After Monaco, they all tasted too rich and salty etc. Although a different regular style pie, Monaco’s had a southern Italian flavor, more saucy etc. and I definately want to stop back again for it. The flavor grew on me after a few bites. One could eat this and stay thin easily. I was told locals like their most popular pie the Monaco, with sausage, peppers and onions. Would enjoy trying these Pizza’s because the sauce had enough flavor and the crust doesn’t bore me. This place is both interesting and good.
