South Gate Sunroofs

Drove all the way from north Hollywood to have my sunroof glass check for proper alignment and to have 2 pieces of plastic that cover the inner side bolts when glass is up. So here is the story the guy, he says he’s the owner touch the button a few times and he says it’s not working ok something is wrong than after a few tries says oh actually it’s working fine I just reprogrammed for you its 35 dollars already so I ask what about the 2 pieces I have here that I need to be put back he says you don’t need that it works fine without those pieces and adds I won’t install those it could give you problems down the road. I answer this guy the whole purpose of me driving all the way over here was to install them so he goes what you don’t wanna pay me the work I just did for you its that why keep talking about those pieces. From the start I told this guy the I wanted those pieces back so now he says ok fine it will be 125 plus 35 you owe me give me 2 hours but now I don’t trust him. I ask him how he reprogrammed the glass or why he would do that If the glass was gonna be removed anyways he said those are my secrets you don’t have to know at this point I just said good bye jerk what an ass.

See David he helped me out of a spot very grateful. He removed tint even when he was ready to close on a Sunday Then he let us sit in his office to watch World Cup championship. Only place in town that knew anything about my 25 year old sunroof. David had original parts and also did a great job fixing a couple small things in my interior while he had the headliner down.
They did scratch one of my woodgrain panels – impossible to find replacements – and I had to bring my sunroof back for a minor adjustment, but David was very kind, knowledgeable, and didn’t give me a hassle on honoring the warranty on their work.
Two other places before would just blow me off and make excuses and had no idea what to do with my sunroof, so I’m extremely pleased to have found this place. They are masters!
