Nimitz Junior High School

I went here for Junior High. And I must say though in the south east of Los Angeles it was a great school, with real teachers whom really teach!
The school is a pretty decent size and I loved those moments of hanging out with friends during lunch aww… those were the wonder years days!

Nimitz Middle School is a good school and from what I remember it is one of the biggest middle schools in the nation. The counselors, teachers, and staff try their best to make this awkward time for kids an easy experience as possible! The physical education programs need to be a bit more active in order to reduce child obesity! The kids will get out of their education what they put into it. The teachers cannot do everything on their own, they need the help of the students and especially the parents. It is up to the parents to be after their kids to do their assignments and homework every night. I graduated from Nimitz and went to Bell High School and now have my Master’s I loved all my teachers because they helped shape me to what I am now. I did not know that then but now looking back on it I am thankful for all they did for me and my younger sister. This school is a good school that needs the help of every student and every parent! Go Nimitz!
